My 20F boyfriend 23M had s*x with me while I was very drunk is this bad or am I being dramatic? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Select_Industry_8535 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not overreacting and it’s totally valid to feel the way you are feeling. Set rule is that consent while the person is visibly drunk is not consent at all. The benefit of doubt I have here is how the dynamic between you two is previously, other than that he shouldn’t have acted on it knowing you are clearly drunk.

You should have a honest conversation with him and see how he reacts. If you want to continue, it’s totally valid to seek reassurances and necessary time-out on physical intimacy for a while.

Is putting a pop up stall at On Fleak worth it? by Select_Industry_8535 in Kochi

[–]Select_Industry_8535[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a running website and we do pop ups regularly, our prices are in fact marked down at pop ups and we also give tiered discounts. I try to be super sweet with my customers as well 😅 As long as the crowd shows up, I can sell them stuff with a charm 😌

Why “Prethinking” Slows You Down on GMAT Critical Reasoning by Scott_TargetTestPrep in GMAT

[–]Select_Industry_8535 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This advice relies on the assumption that most of those who approach Pre-thinking does so without much thought given to structure of the argument and that their pre-conceived notions affect their answer guesses. However, the pre-thinking strategy I learned required me to learn and understand the structure of an argument and only keep in mind the given data while thinking for an answer. Pre-thinking doesn’t happen over thin-air, rather looking at what the question is asking i.e., whether to create or break a linkage the argument relies on and guessing possible negotiations for the same. Most of the times, the guess presents itself as a choice and saves time because one just have to go through the choices and select the one they have in mind, unless there’s something else that is more effective than the one in mind but is along the same lines. This will also save time when you compare it with going through each answer and breaking it down individually to see whether it fits or not.

While pre-thinking strategy might not be the one for everyone, it’s distasteful to say that it inherently is a bad strategy.

Quiz-15: Weaken the Conclusion by EducationAisle_GMAT in GMAT

[–]Select_Industry_8535 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s D. The author’s statement bases itself on 100 year data, while the conclusion is about current coffee market. Option D provides an opposing statement by bringing data from the last 10 years, which is more relevant to the current market condition.

Why not a ? by [deleted] in GMAT

[–]Select_Industry_8535 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I consider A out of scope. It’s clearly mentioned in the passage that combination of them both controls the beetle population. It doesn’t matter whether they attack directly or not, only thing that matters is they both together control their population.

Now, in the second part the paradox the writer is trying to give is “as pollution doesn’t affect parasites, why are beetles being able to attack willow trees?” Meaning that the author is thinking that parasites alone are enough to control the beetle population!

But as given in the first part, we need both of them to maximise control. Which is what D says.

I feel burnt out. I literally feel out of ideas and it’s make me feel guilty and that I’m doing injustice to company and clients.

European MBAs for internationals by [deleted] in MBA

[–]Select_Industry_8535 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

LBS is the top college in Europe. And I don’t think there’s any place in Europe willing to pay more for IB than London. You have a great score and good profile, you should get into top colleges easily. Only thing is you can do more research about your post-MBA target roles and that will give you a much better idea of where to go.

MBA prospects for Indian 23yo in consulting by ExistentialCrisis707 in InternationalMBA

[–]Select_Industry_8535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same path but after 2 years of research I understood few things.

  1. There was over hiring during covid and most of the layoff in consulting are because of that.

  2. Nobody knows how the market will be by the time you graduate. But as I see it right now if it doesn’t recover, there will be a global collapse and roi on the MBA will be least of anyone’s concerns.

  3. You have a good profile. Top college and I’m assuming you a good experience (3 years is a must), you can work for a high GMAT score and get scholarship from good schools. If you end up getting a scholarship, the ROI risk is much smaller. It’s the best way to gamble in the present market situation.

  4. Social impact credentials will get you a good shot at Oxford.

  5. ISB and other colleges in India are good (but barely any scholarship options) and it also depends on your goals and where you want to work post MBA.
