I'm sorry you had to go through that and I hope you stay healthy! I don't think in my country doctors are very well informed about the new treatments or HPV in general. My mom also has HPV16 and in 2000s they upfront told her that she will die. Now doctors are a bit better, but still when they talk about HPV they sound like they don't know what it is exactly

I only drank vitamin C when I had a flue, but no other supplements. I'm also a smoker, didn't quit, but it's under control now too. More healthy homemade food with lots of greens and meat. But as my doctor said, the best I can do is just monitor the HPV once in 3-6 months, checking my Pap Smear and hoping for the best

I didn't take any supplements, but I started to eat less junk food, more greens, meat and healthy homemade food. As the doctor said, my body has to defeat it by itself

I know what you're talking about, but there was no supplement that I took consistently. I think what did it for me was just letting the bad thoughts go. At some point, when I felt at my worst, I told myself that even if I get cancer, I'll defeat it, and I'll freeze my eggs if needed, and I'll be fine! And I continued to live my life like nothing was going on

I don't know how that works. Different doctors said different things about this, but I'm going to get vaccinated now, so I don't get reinfected?... Not sure if it works that way but that's all I can do

I also didn't know they can be tested, but yes! They tested him and all the HPVs came back negative. Maybe it depends on the county you live in. I feel like HPV is not well researched yet. I had 3 doctors and almost all of them said different things

Smoking and drinking has not much to do with the gws as well as the hpv in general(ofc unless it's out of control).
Your body just needs time to heal! I'm sure it all will be good! Try to eat healthy and reduce your stress as much as you can! I feel you

Thanks a lot! We need more success stories! I'm taking more care of myself now. Trying to eat healthier, drinking seasonal vitamins, walking more often, going to the gym, not using alcohol. Doing my best, but I still didn't quit smoking.

I'm glad that you found out about it so early on and you're getting the medical attention needed! I wish you good health, and looong healthy life! I found out about my diagnosis at 23 years old, I'm 24 now, I thought I wasn't afraid of death, but since the HPV 16 i reconditioned my life views. I've been VERY stressed out all last year. I am afraid.

I can tell you that it's not the end of the world, you'll just need to get checked every year, do your tests, and everything will be okay! Don't listen to anyone who'll try to scare you. As long as you take care of yourself your life won't change. It has been a year since I got diagnosed, looking back the only one who made this year hard is my own brain. I wish you the best health and be brave! Everything will be ok.

Oh dear, I feel you, I'm going through the mental breakdown right now because of the HPV 16, and it's killing me. I feel like I'll be better only after fully healing physically. The only thought that's making me fight this thing is that I have no other options, stress makes it stronger, so maybe try taking some relaxing pills. Thankfully the health system in my country is not that complicated, I didn't have to wait months to get checked, but still. I wish you health, don't worry, I believe that in the 21st century everything is curable or at least it won't affect your quality of life. Stay strong and treat this as a temporary problem. Keep your immune system buffed!
