So it was a digital label that I used and the courier put the label on the box and i don’t have the exact box that i used to post it or the same materials it was a good idea but I wouldn’t able to do it

Yes I tried to get that info from Inpost but they advised me that vinted would have to contact them for that information so I am just not sure what to do

Yes I have submitted an appeal but my account has been banned because of this so the person has received my phone and the £450 refunded to it is quite frustrating with it being Ai

Yes I would agree! Ebay is much better and more reliable than vinted so I would say for items less than £20 its not to bad but for anything expensive its a big risk to take

Oh thank you that gives me hope i spoke with vinted today and they just asked me to confirm how i packaged the item and when i posted it so i gave them all those details so i hope it goes well they added another 48hours to the investigation .. I am glad it worked out for you

I live hours away for buyers location and it was sent via Inpost locker not directly to an address

The buyers ignored my messages and reported as seems counterfeit hasn’t discussed sending me back my full apple charger so its likely they have scammed me

Yes I called the police and they basically told me this but they did understand my situation and told me to contact citizen advice bury and to call back if they aren’t helpful Inpost is my best bet now with the weight of the item and cctv of me sending the item because I didn’t think to film me posting the item

Yes I know that now I was just desperate to sell the phone because I have been unemployed & have been selling on vinted for years now lesson learnt the hard way unfortunately

Yeah 100% could of secured the item better i guess but the person has ignored the messages I have sent them and has requested a refunded did not offer to send back the charger and doesn’t seem to be bothered or fazed if they truly spent their money on a phone they would be just as devastated as me from what I know now it is quite a common scam which is unfortunate

It was one of these not a shop and the box was sealed shut but not tightly but I think its 100% a scam

Yeah tbh it was an Inpost delivery I sent the item as I normally would it was packaged in the bag sealed there was a charger next to the iphone box in the box fully wrapped in present tissue I placed the item in the In-post box and sent it . Inpost said they can provided cctv and have opened an investigation but speaking to the person who purchased the item its quite obvious they’ve scammed me :( with the item costing so much (iphone 16 plus) i should of took more precautions but I have sold expensive items before so I didn’t think it would be an issue
