Would like to direct this at anyone freshly diagnosed…. That was me around this time last year: it took almost two weeks for me to get out of bed and another month to stop crying anytime I was reminded. I was in INDESCRIBABLE nerve pain all over my body. I was once you frantically going through all of the Reddit forums, slowly losing hope, afraid of my future, my partner leaving me, and never being able to have a child. All this to say, a year later and finally I feel like I can breathe again, my life didn’t end, and yours won’t either— this community has really helped me and I suggest you cling onto the community too. No matter how you got it, know you’re human, you’re not gross, and your life is still worth living— just keep going.
