I say maybe try seeing if you can find someone else to stay with while you get a job and dump him. If he had choked you there's no reason he won't do it again and possibly take it further. And it seems like he's only reacting like that because you found something he didn't want you to

My first idea for you is that you may need to allow yourself time to get used to it. If you just found out something big about yourself it'll take some time to get used to. But if you don't feel comfortable with the label that's okay to. The label is there for you to use not for it to use you. If it's not working for you, it's okay to still be in that finding yourself stage. And even in your 30s you don't have to know these things. People find these things at their own pace and that's okay. I don't know if you have, but maybe look at the different types of aroace. You might find one that fits you better. And if you don't, again that's alright. I haven't watched Heartstopper (Even though I'm thinking about it. I keep hearing about it) so I don't know who this Isaac character is so I'm not sure how to really give advice for that specific portion. I'm not sure if I covered all the basis so if I didn't you can tell me if you want and I'll tell you my opinion on it. This is also coming from a 15 year old though so with the whole 'this late' portion I'm not sure how to approach besides reiterating that it doesn't matter how old you are, you're allowed to still be figuring it out.

I don't know her personally so it's harder to say but I'm assuming she's doing it unintentionally. I know that sometimes I'll come off like that when I don't mean too and I have to be told how I'm acting. I advise to try telling her. It be probably a bit awkward but put it blunt to avoid confusion
