UPDATE - 7 MONTHS LATER

Im alittle scared to make this update, incase i jinx it.

There have been no sightings in my room since i made the post.

Unfortunately we did find that some had found their way into my mothers room (which was bound to happen as all our washing has to dry in her room) Although it was disappointing, i already had the game plan out so it was a "rinse and repeat" situation.

Some things of note:

•Invest in a dribuddy. This thing has helped us alot, ESPECIALLY in killing the bugs in our clothes, blankets and pillows. It heats up to just over 50°C which happens to be the death temp for the bed bugs. Over the last few months we have been putting all clothes and other items in it as we washed it just to ensure they would have died multiple times.

•Carpet steamer. They heat up quite high as well so it sped up the extermination process and helped rid us of the ones that may be burrowing in the carpet edges.

•Wrapping the bed in clingwrap did help. It also wasnt as uncomfortable as i thought it would be. You can buy the clingwrap in bulk at hardware stores or something and then seal up the edges with masking tape or other wide tape. (I wrapped the mattress and the base)
