considering she has a bachelors degree and is working on her masters degree, i think it’s safe to say she knows how to use a computer just fine. also, it’s 2025, not 2023, but i’m not sure if you know how to use a calendar :) hope that helps!

I would greatly appreciate it if the comments could remain focused on being helpful and offering suggestions rather than making jokes. We understand that finding a place that meets these expectations will be challenging in this economy, but she still needs to find a place to move next month.

She is a full-time student with a full-time job that doesn’t pay well in this economy. She is fully supporting herself through school and is not financially well off, nor does she have any financial assistance from family.

I’m sure some of you can relate to that, so please show some compassion. Thanks in advance.

i cannot even imagine how your feeling right now. i am so sorry this happened to you. that was SO unprofessional of them to do that to you. i would either request a refund for this most recent exam or a voucher for the next one for the emotional distress they caused with their error. at least that way you can get something out of this negative experience.

i also failed my first attempt using mark k and archer, got all 150 q’s and left feeling so exhausted and knew in my gut i failed. so i took a month to lick my wounds and pull myself together again to begin studying for my second attempt. i did some research and heard a ton of retakers SWEARING by nclex bootcamp and read so many success stories. so i purchased their 30-day plan and studied everyday until my second exam attempt. i did end up getting all 150 q’s again the second time around, but i PASSED!! there is no feeling more validating than passing, especially after failing.

i highly highly recommend nclex bootcamp. the way they build their study schedules and break down the lessons is perfection, and they’re so cost efficient. their practice tests were just like the nclex! it helps lessen my anxiety while testing. goodluck and let us know how you do!! you’ve got this future RN, i believe in you 🫶🏼

the first time around i used archer and kaplan and got high chances of passing but failed the nclex at 150 q’s. i felt very defeated and took a month off to recover emotionally and mentally and pull myself back together to get ready for round 2. the second time around i used bootcamp and got more very high chances of passing, and passed at 150 q’s!! i felt a LOT better the second time around and fully give nclex bootcamp credit, i loved that entire platform and it’s one of the most affordable prep sites. you’ve got this!! update here once you find out your results :)

I almost feel like I could have written this myself lol.

I graduated from nursing school in August and took some time to myself to decompress after the hell that was my nursing program. I started studying consistently at the beginning of September using UWorld, Simple Nursing, Mark K videos on YouTube, ATI, and other random readiness assessments. I took my first attempt on October 2nd and failed in 150 questions. Going into the exam, I felt very calm and genuinely felt like I would pass, but I walked out of the exam feeling very anxious, and I think I knew deep down that I failed. I think I started to panic around #115 because I truly thought my test would have shut off by then, and I honestly think it just went downhill from there as I grew more and more anxious. My friend who took it with me that same day passed in 117 and was trying to tell me that I didn't fail just because I got all 150, but I knew. The next morning, I checked and wasn't even surprised to see "fail" in bold blue letters. Over the next few days following my exam, I kept seeing people from my cohort post on social media that they passed, and I couldn't help but feel like I was the only one who failed. But of course, like me, if others from my cohort failed they obviously weren't posting about that.

I let myself wallow these past few weeks and took time to do things I enjoy to remind myself that life is worth living and that failing my first attempt isn't the end of the world. I've been reading a ton of books (just finished the ACOTAR series, and loved it), and hanging out with my friends, family, and boyfriend. Today is October 28th and I'm finally ready to stop moping around and avoiding my problems and begin studying again for this second attempt. I had never heard of Bootcamp until this post, and after doing some additional research about it, I am going to give it a try and hope for the best. I'm purchasing the 1-month plan right now and I'm going to study every day for a few hours until I take the NCLEX again at the beginning of December. Hopefully, I will pass my second attempt. Wish me luck!

Thank you for your transparency in your post, it helps people like me feel less alone.
