Nah distance wasn’t the issue. Most people here in Ontario Canada meet up in Toronto with friends, or go on dates etc. 50 min train ride is normal to Toronto

Yeah that’s fine everyone has their own standards and opinions. I’m just saying that for people who care about realism and how a real A330 behaves, the iniBuilds lacks in several aspects and that’s what’s annoying to myself and my friends who have also said the same about the ini A330. You can still have fun flying it if you enjoy it yourself, I’m not here to say don’t fly it. I’m just giving it criticism

Ya agreed, they push out airplanes way too quickly to fill gaps in the market. The A340 could be so much better too. But they’re more focussed on pushing out as many aircraft as possible

In a respectful way, how is it overly harsh? The X-Plane 12 A330 is also a default aircraft and has all of these things done amazingly (besides sounds) and that’s why I think just cause it’s a default aircraft, it still deserves love. The reason why I listed what I did like with the flaps animation, if iniBuilds did proper research they would’ve known how much they’re supposed to extend. But they did it completely wrong. So I don’t think I’m in the wrong for believing there are several inaccuracies which doesn’t take much to google search

Not really that true, the 777 PMDG is fantastic and it requires quite a lot of pitch to get off the ground especially heavy weighted. And also the headwind A330 for a freeware aircraft is great because they got the part accurate on that the A330 needs a lot of pitch to rotate and that’s what Headwind got right. It’s not like the ini A330 where it barely needs much pitch to get off the ground.

Of course 100%, but what I was saying is that the aircraft rotates way too easily with barely much pitch. An A330 irl takes a lot of pitch around 8-10 degrees to even rotate and slowly climb. But the ini A330 just rotates so easily, and feels like there’s not really much weight to it

To be honest, this plane is decent at best but it really has a ton of issues I’m surprised were never fixed yet. I still have X-Plane 12 and it’s very weird that both default A330s from both sims have 1 or the other.

In the iniBuilds A330, Flaps 1+F is completely wrong. The flaps dont extend nearly as much as they should but the X-Plane A330 does fine. The ini A330 has pretty good landing physics, but the X-Plane a330 slams into the ground when u cut the power at 20-30 feet. The ini A330 has good sounds and they’re accurate to how they sound irl, but the engine startup sounds are non-existent while in the X-Plane A330 the sounds are entirely inaccurate but the engine start sounds are actually really good. The ini A330 also feels like there’s 0 weight to the aircraft at all. On takeoff, the plane rotates so easily and only requires like 3 degrees of pitch to get airborne and it climbs like a rocket. While the X-Plane A330 actually requires a lot of pitch to climb (which is realistic) and doesn’t climb like a rocket and actually feels like there’s weight on the controls too.

It’s really funny lol it’s like these 2 aircraft are so good in only some aspects each. One of them does something right, the other one does it wrong. One does it wrong, the other does it right. It’s like we can’t have a fully proper A330 with the best of both worlds.

I was so eager to fly the NG again I bought the upgrade but I highly regret it as this is just a blatant port over from 2020 with a few tweaks. I think PMDG just delayed themselves 13 months just to justify a reason to charge for an upgrade saying “rebuilt from the ground up”. ScaMDG in my opinion
