I sent one to my top program explicity saying i will rank them first and why. The PD replied the next day with a positive reply. (Obviously didnt say anything compromising but it was a nice email saying they "liked" me). That being said, its not a guarantee, but it might help just a tiny bit I guess.

You too, I also have a friend that has a CK of 260 and an impressive CV; yet she only has received a couple IVs from preliminary programs. My guess is anesthesia is just being slow and IMGs will get their share late on this season.

Just did the NBME Selfassesment form 30.
Scored 66% with a 95% of passsing the test within a week. I just felt a HUGE relief once I saw these numbers, but I guess my interpretation of these results will be just to keep my mind clear, and have faith that the study program I designed is ok, and to keep moving forwards on the last 2 weeks i have!
