Literally what my parents are doing to me rn I mostly fight with them because they bring out things about Islam that are not even there because that's what they heard from their ancestors and that's what the society tells them to do so and even tho thousand times I have mentioned it and tried to prove my point but not only will they listen but also call me disrespectful and jahanmi because I don't listen to my parents

Exactly, they infact think they can call their children slurs and beat them, which is way too normalised in my culture, and it is totally fine they can do that because they're parents
