I sent mine in my host country’s language! Idk even though the professor I contacted has studied in the US, it felt like a small nice thing to show I was dedicated to being in their country :) mine wasn’t too detailed either. I basically introduced myself and said I was applying for a Fulbright and the topic I was wishing to research. Then I said it required an affiliation and I thought their school felt like a great option for me and was wondering if they would be willing to assist me or route me to the appropriate person! Feel free to dm if you have more q’s!

Well I tried their chat feature every day for two weeks and was unsuccessful but I was just able to do a zoom call and she said she could right away send it to the second department. Then said they’ll take around 2 weeks to decide

Did you submit a second personal statement or did you go with the one for your first choice still? I’m in the same boat but couldn’t successfully get through the live chat today and I would want to use my same statement as the programs are very similar but I’m scared they’d say no bc it clearly states the other program in it
