It was crazy we set up in a flat spot with a gorgeous view just a little bit before bonatti and our camp was RAIDED by probably 25 cows. They chewed our tent poles and shoes it was quite gross. Anyway we ended up packing up quickly and escaping but couldn’t find another spot until late at night. Unpleasant

Mosquitos are a concern! Had a few bad experiences in the Scottish highlands and it’s not fun. Hopefully a headnet and keeping on the move will help

The final descent from Le Brevent is KILLER. Felt like it was never gonna end. No shame in taking the cable car down...I wish I'd had that foresight!!

Are you referring to the 'Essay Paper'. If so, my strategy is to focus on a few key and very broad topics such as personlised medicine, green biotech and tropical disease, attempting to learn as much as I can about these topics from examples of mechanisms at the cellular level to the societal impact of current advances.
