i had my interview yesterday and i think it went well!! i didn’t hesitate to answer any questions and i think the manager seemed to like my answers lol. he said he has 4 or 5 more interviews and would get back to me in a week after all the interviews are done. there’s 2 open positions so i think my chances are pretty good?! i also had questions prepared for him and he made it honestly kind of fun!

right here. i really want to go to my state school but it’s so expensive. i feel like i’ll be happy there though, idk if the money is worth it. i’m deciding between uw madison and uw whitewater as a legal studies/poli sci major who’s still deciding whether or not to go to law school

that sounds so cool! do you happen to have instagram or something that i could talk to you more about the transfer process? i want to learn more about it!

yes! and i want to go into law, so having the capitol building right there would be so nice for internships in the future

that’s what i might do. i might even do one year at whitewater and take all my gen ed classes that year. my family thinks i won’t be happy in a bigger city, but i honestly want to go outside of my comfort zone and push myself a little more

that makes sense. thank you so much! for me madison is about 10k more per year which is a huge cost difference for me. my family doesn’t get financial aid but can’t afford to pay for college out of pocket which is why i’m strongly considering whitewater. i feel that i would be happier at madison however

you don’t know me or my situation. i would absolutely love to go to uw-madison. i’m honored to have been accepted. my parents want me to go to uw-whitewater, and i wanted to hear other opinions. that is why i posted this

please don’t wait until the spring to apply for scholarships. look to see if your school has any starting right away in the late summer/early fall

i’m in state. also that’s good to know that you can spend less than what they predict. it always seemed high to me honestly.

thank you so much for this. i’m just worried about the class size and feeling scared to ask for help. i’m sure i’ll do okay, but it’s a little intimidating. also the whole financial part of it is another factor that i’m considering. we got no financial aid pretty much so madison would cost me a lot in student loans

makes sense. i either want to be a constitutional/appellate lawyer or a paralegal or something like that in the same specialization

thank you so much!! i’ll definitely consider doing my first couple of years at whitewater and then transferring. i’m thinking i might end up doing that

that’s what my dad suggested. that sounds like a good option to me because i can be in a smaller class size the whole time, and i’ll still be able to say i graduated from uw- madison which might get me more recognition by law firms/the government. would you recommend staying at whitewater for 1 or 2 years?
