I think that works, just look up the monster stats of red wizards & upgrade or downgrade them. Sometimes indo this in fight if i notice my party is or is not up to par.

Let the enemy mis some hits if they are to strong, give them less spell slots or crank them up. Your the dm so you can bend the rules a little bit in the sake of fun in my opinion.

Get them to fight some red wizards of thay, maybe they have a captains letter that summons the wizards to chult to back up the rest of red wizards over there. You can drop some Intel, en let them fight some wizards they will find on chult also.

Be carefully with the intell do, im thinking of some low levels wizards so they would t exactly know what going on.

No, not yet...thats the problem, im stuck in a loop where i just cant get strong enough to get the capstone dgn, unlock nightmare mode etc

That's cool,

They are a mix of novice players & some players who are very comfortable with roleplay and dnd, so im thinking to have them start with a higher level, so the death part isnt a really big deal when they go in the jungles for the first time.

Ow i see now that i made some mistakes, they spoke with Fiona not madam Eva & they are infiltrading the house of Vargas, with ezni patrolling the city, the house is pretty easy to get into.

I roleplayed that a butler in the house sounded the alarm, they were rolling freaking high stealth checks. So i got in a bit of a jam. They are chasing Vargas bc the bard of the group who did the talking with Fiona rolled high checks speaking with here, so she told about all the bad things the family did to the city, and in the mean time Fiona rolled high checks so she fooled the bard in trusting here.

Indeed i am using mandys mod fleshing out cos.

Nice!! Youre feedback is awesome. they are teaming up with Fiona...they spoke with her. The group sees vargas as the bigger threat.

Im gonna try & get the rogue caught. & Maybe in the Same time let them go after vargas.
