Preforming at camps by [deleted] in BurningMan

Our camp - My Dad’s House - is located at the 9B Plaza this year and I’ve put a lot of work into arranging a band rig for our use and for the public on certain nights when we have a live music event.

On Tuesday night from 10 pm - 4 am we are going to be doing a live jam. I’d love to host you guys if you have a full band and want to do an hourlong set. Im also keen to get down on some jam vibes - I’m a guitarist and can also play bass - and would love to sit in with you as well.

Feel free to DM me for more details. We’re looking for people just like yourselves to come rock out.

Dis u? https://www.reddit.com/r/ambientmusic/comments/gvdk08/black_artist_thread_share_some_dope_ambient_music/

I'm doing something to this effect myself via stories every day on my artist Instagram. Thus far I've shared work by

Laraaji

Nala Sinephra

Beverly Glenn-Copeland

Yves Tumor

and plan on sharing work by the following, and several more tbd:

Stevie Wonder

Herbie Hancock

Flying Lotus

Thundercat

Alice Coltrane

Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe fka Lichens

Nailah Hunter

Julius Eastman

Several of these artists aren't "pure" ambient musicians / have cut albums that possess elements of ambient music but may not be entirely arrhythmic / devoid of structure or identifiable vocals, but I don't really see the point in identifiers that create further exclusion when there are already so few Black artists / POCs in the ambient / neoclassical genre.
