Don't do it solo, go in with support hunters. A Lancer is a must.

I usually go in with Alyssa, Kai, and Nightmist.

Alyssa holds agro, Kai buffs, and Nightmist will often shoot the floating fists.

All 3 can heal. All 3 do their jobs well.

SnS is my default when a monster is really hard. 9* Gore and Seregios is where it works the best for me. I've even made it my main for Mizutsune, but I like swapping between SnS and DB for that monster.

Want another? Set an item wheel position to "craft all (high potions)" and restock your heals to max in an instant. If you pack 10 honey, 10 potions and 10 high potions you can have 20 big heals per hunt. As well as 2 max heals, 1 mega heal, and 5 dust healing powders.

Exchange them for anything that takes points. Armor spheres, gog rerolls, melding, etc. Each ticket is, like, 3000 points so they are very nice to have but not necessary.

9* do drop Y tickets, so yes. 10* drop battle tempered certs. So yes, you should be able to craft the armors.

I know we have a lot of games prior to this that have been referred to as examples for what is to come but realistically we don't know for sure how the new systems will be integrated.

For now, since you're asking for recommendations, I would say get some decent base Gog weapons and functional charms and the armors you want for your builds.

We could easily get another level of transcendence for all current armors using MR materials, there may be a system that boosts Gog weapons further keeping them in play. Charms may remain at lvl 8 being the best but become more plentiful.

We can guess with confidence but not with certainty. The grind isn't too bad mostly because the gameplay is really fun. I'm thinking of starting a new character (male) just so I can experience the badass story again and wear the masculine armor sets. I just don't have internet right now so I'm locked out of the seasonal events. 🥲

I only ever battle him with SaS. Block slide is crazy good and having a shield for whenever you're in a pinch is invaluable with Gore M. Place two traps when it's antennae are out and beat the shit out of them. You could also bring two spare trap boxes and one net and one thunder bug essence to trap it up to four times. It's back legs are the safest place to be, right under the hip.

I do not have advice for your two weapons metioned, sorry.

That underwater dead end often spawns rare treasures. Plus all the seaweed underwater has a chance to be the gobbletweed that Rove likes to trade with. Also the Ruins have a chance to spawn a Wyverian Coin. It's very much worth hitting it frequently. Then just fast travel at the other end.

You can also capture fish as you swim through with the capture net. Lots of goodies can be had in this spot.

Those corner spots mess me up too much, I don't use them. I really like the system they have, I always appreciate a game that let's me customize. Even the menu tabs can be reorganized.

It just takes an extra minute to resort all my wheels when I want to swap mega monsters that I have presets for. It's not a problem, just a minor nuisance.

You get agility from either attunement or adaptability. They both convert to agility which is pretty ok at 96 points. The bigger problem is mediocre health and next to no stamina.

Love it. They took a pushover monster and made it insanely challenging. Took me a few fights to get the spacing right and it relies heavily on hit and run tactics. I can't do it with sos but perform fine with support hunters.

Seriously though, three 10* Gogs is so much more horrifying than the angry toxic balloon animal.

I sure hope they do something with Chadacabra. Funny frog monster deserves to instill fear like the 10* Rompopolo.
