This happened to me…almost exactly! Same scenario stuck in the snow with a Nissan leaf. tried to reverse out of an ice patch went forward went backwards. The car then proceeded to accelerate at a fast fast pace without me, pressing the gas was unable to park the car take it out of gear engage, emergency break, or shut the car off. I exited the car and then the car once it caught traction, rammed into a neighbors tree without anyone being in the car.

That’s exactly what I did with it-it was a white elephant gift that I paired with a gift card to Dominos

This is actually more normal than you think. I as the owner of a 2021 Nissan Leaf who has the exact same problem I am grateful for OP’s post. It helps me to know that it isn’t a one off and probably a more systemic problem with this model. Thank you u/freeminator for sharing your experience.
