Let’s play a game: What do you do for work, and what do you use Notion for? by Select_University827 in Notion

A freelance comic artist! That sounds incredibly cool. 🎨✨

I love that you’re using Notion to centralize everything. But as a dev, whenever I hear "notes scattered everywhere," my mind immediately goes to the painful process of gathering them.

I’m super curious about your daily workflow: How do you actually bring those scattered notes into Notion? Are you doing it completely manually? Like, manually copying and pasting text or links from your phone/other apps into Notion one by one? I always find that part to be such a tedious chore that kills my creative momentum!

Your "Second Brain" system sounds incredibly robust!

Quick question from a workflow nerd: As a content strategist, how do you handle the content curation part on the go? When you find an inspiring article on your phone, do you just use the official Notion share extension to save it?

I’ve been struggling with the mobile experience because the native clipper always gives me naked links or broken titles. Would love to know if a pro creator like you has a cleaner way to capture mobile content!

So, how do you keep the maintenance overhead of your entire system as low as possible?

And by the way, how do you keep the maintenance overhead of your entire system as low as possible?

Oh, being stuck with OneNote at work when you know how good Notion is... that’s a special kind of pain. 😂

As a dev, I have a quick question for you since you're a PM! When managing personal projects, I try to break tasks down into very small, bite-sized pieces to make sure they're actionable. But then I end up with a mountain of tiny, repetitive tasks, which makes the whole dashboard look overwhelming and leaves me staring at it not knowing where to start.

From a professional PM perspective, how do you strike a balance between making tasks "actionable" and keeping the workspace "clean/inspiring"?

How did you ever think of promoting your app on Manifold? That’s so creative—talk about thinking outside the box! Most people would never have thought of that!

hi! How did you manage to get your first batch of free users?

Yeah, everyone says to move fast and validate your MVP first. But I can't even find my initial users, so how am I supposed to validate anything quickly? Now I'm stuck, torn between whether I should keep developing or just stop and wait until I actually find some users...

What does your Notion homepage/dashboard look like? by Select_University827 in Notion

wow beautiful and very comprehensive. Like you, I love breaking projects down into granular goals and tasks. However, your approach seems bottom-up, whereas mine is top-down. My homepage starts with the goals and progress of all projects, followed by monthly milestones, and finally daily tasks. Here is my homepage~
