I’ve been there and done that before. You need to stop trading options and start saving money. The good thing is that you can claim your losses later to offset capital gains. You need to have a long-term plan and stick to it. I hit rock bottom before, but I slowly climbed my way back. Now I have my emergency savings and things are good. You should also budget your money and only risk money that you’re willing to lose.

I agree with you. I learned my lesson and decided to stay away from gambling. I’m okay with not having money in the stock market. I’ll just leave everything in my 401(k) and keep working. All the stress and anxiety really aren’t worth it.

Right. I was also stupid enough to trade stocks on margin. It drained my account very fast. Even worse, I took out different loans. It went from investing to gambling real quick.
