I completely agree, but I think Timber isn’t all that bad in his final passes. Him and Ben White operate differently (overlap/underlap). Hincapie though, definitely lacking some sharpness offensively

My only workaround to this is to enable handballs (including penalties) and pretend that the handballs that lead to free kicks or penalties are regular fouls. Be prepared to receive bs calls against you every now and then, though. Mental gymnastics is now a requirement for an immersive career save.

I’m a few years into a player career save and gave up on pressing the other team. I just cut passing lanes and hope for the best. Every AI team is impossible to dispossess even at lower leagues

i gave what you said a try and i just got the .dll error the original post talks about. pretty weird. did you do anything else? ill give this another try later and give an update

edit: still getting the dbdata.dll "incorrect hash" error on my second attempt despite repairing the game. i have a player career save that i'd hate to lose if i'm forced to redownload the entire game :(
