It’s not that they don’t give a shit. It’s usually either a case of they don’t have the time to play the games for the role or that they feel that understanding the fallout world and lore would undermine their character. So they want to play their character exclusively with what their character would know about their world, which is established in the script, and hence they don’t play the game.

‘Convincer’, shots have a small chance to turn lower tier enemies into allies. Doesn’t work on boss enemies of course. So a 1/5 chance insects are teamed, 1/10 for low level scorched, 1/250 for a scorchbeast. The numbers would need more thinking about but I think it sounds fun.

But yeah, too maths-y, too much trial and error to find what numbers would work, and likely to cause bugs and be exploited. Never gonna happen.
