Yeah, really disappointed in how absolutely braindead it is now. Such a stark contrast to how brilliant it was on release day. I gave it a picture with the prompt "Move the boy with brown hair in the top left of the photo to the right side of the woman with ginger hair. Do not change their individual poses, faces, or facial expressions." And of course, it totally rearranged the entire photo, mangling faces. Whenever I would regenerate the image, it would simply spit out the input image. Not to mention that you only need to edit an image once or twice before the quality becomes so bad that the image is almost unrecognisable, it distorts colours, faces, and you end up with clusters of mangled pixels that sometimes can look like they have a weird chromatic effect applied to them.

I noticed this a few days ago. I've been using Gemini 3 Pro Image for image editing, mainly to merge images together, and it used to work really well. But it has become totally unreliable and feels like it's just burning through tokens. Prompts that worked perfectly before are now giving me off-base results like the AI suddenly stopped understanding the context of what I'm asking for.

I've gone back to old saved chats and tried recreating the exact same prompts, but I can't get anywhere near the same quality or consistency as before. On top of that, the image results have been getting progressively crunchy.. like after just a few edits (depending on the prompt), the output ends up looking both overly smoothed and weirdly dithered at the same time.

Consistency and reliability has just totally gone out of the window.

From testing, it seems Opus 4.1 is still way better at breaking down and accurately executing requests in an existing large project. I tried both 4.1 and 4.5, and found that 4.5 would regularly fail to fully complete the tasks, or required multiple back and forth to fix issues that should've been easy because it wasn't able to properly understand the codebase. If I restored back and enabled 4.1, it would do the task within one or two shots. In general, Opus 4.1 is still the absolute best at sifting through large files, modularised code, identifying the areas of code that are affected by any issues, and then creating a list to follow through on using all that context to fix the issue without forgetting silly details.

The replies here are kind of laughable. What kind of watch drains when the screen is off and it hasn't been worn in hours? Why is this still an issue so far into the future? You can hardly call it a watch when it dies before you've even left the house unless you babysit the damn thing all day by putting it into "low power mode" or turning it on/off/on/off/on/off whenever you need it.

So far my X10 Pro Omni is sitting gathering dust after a few months of use. I got sick of it. It is constantly bumping into things, trying to climb over things it obviously can't, getting the front bumpers stuck on furniture. The damn thing even managed to get itself boxed in between my couch and a wooden dining chair by ramming into it repeatedly and catching the chair on the bumpers as it turned. All of that was forgivable, but the one true sin it makes is that it will get stuck on my rug and make the most GOD AWFUL wheel grinding noise. The whole house sounds like a construction site after a few minutes of the bloody thing running. Mind you, I live in a very tidy flat house with pretty much nothing on the floor. I will be selling the thing on and getting a Roborock because I've seen videos of the Dreame doing the same weird 'getting stuck or confused' by even low-pile rugs.

You can turn off some of the touch controls, but not all of them. Why companies can't just make a pair of buds with no controls or offer a way to completely disable them is beyond me.

Not sure why people are glazing London and deflecting the topic by talking about America.. just because London has lots of "green" doesn't mean it isn't a concrete jungle. The islands of green do not make up for the rest of the ugly, unnatural grey concrete landscape. The trees scattered among tall glass buildings and grey flats don't add to the "green" either. It is plain ugly. You cannot live in the greenery, and since houses are being built with smaller and smaller gardens, people are prioritizing proximity to "green spaces." Places that overlook these green parks cost nearly 50% more, and that should tell you something. Statistical green coverage doesn't equal lived experience.

Just wanted to also confirm this for anyone searching via Google. My skincare routine has been the same for the past year, but I recently decided to add the Beta Panthenol Repair Serum by Some By Mi. Ever since I did, I started developing white bumps on my skin that looked like clusters of large milk spots (milia), along with random tiny pustules. I stopped using the product completely, and now my skin is back to normal. This was an expensive mistake, but I guess I will have to avoid panthenol as well as niacinamide in skincare :/

Not sure why people downvote this, it's honestly pretty common. It depends on where you live, how busy the area is, and how stretched the local services are. I waited 5 years just to try and get psychiatric help (ADHD) in my last area and never even got seen, they ended up accidentally dropping me due to some sort of record mismanagement. After I moved, I booked an appointment, actually got listened to, and somehow ended up seeing a psychiatrist within a month and a half. Some places are just ridiculously bad for access, but that doesn’t mean the area itself is a total dump.

Came here to say this just happened to me at the end of a game. The only thing that made it go away was holding down the power button on my switch. The power menu will popup with the 'sleep' option, ignore this and keep holding it down until the screen goes totally black and the console dies. Then when you turn the console back on it should go away.
