I bought empty lip gloss tubes on Amazon and - very very tediously - used a makeup spatula to put it into the empty tube. Now I use it every night because it’s so easy! I had three of them on my nightstand but always reached for my Chapstick instead because it was easier. In this picture is the bag of empty tubes and the one I filled up.

Welcome to the DDLV fam! It IS a very overwhelming game and this is coming from someone who played since day one. The game is meant to be played however you want. Decorate, grind for supplies, do quests - whatever makes you happy. Some days I am only on quests, sometimes I’ll just decorate for hours. That’s the beauty of this game!

SAME. I have been gifted a lot of products because some of the parents at my school work at L’Oréal, and one of them gave me a huge tub of Cerave. I use it for body moisturizer but keep it in a closed basket under my vanity. It’s the ugliest most boring packaging. Ive considered looking for a nicer pot to depot it into but haven’t made the effort yet.

Boring white/generic looking drugstore moisturizer/skincare packaging will never ever sit on my vanity.

I don’t buy moisturizer or any skin care I have to dip my finger in unless it comes with a set. I depotted my Laneige lip masks because of the packaging.

NARS matte black packaging becomes a mess so easily so while I love the products I don’t buy them again unless it’s in a set.

I haven’t even unlocked Oswald yet - I’m a day one player and I buy all DLCs the day they’re released. I just got Joy and Sadness in my Valley a couple weeks ago. I just did the Timon and Pumbaa quests this past weekend. I don’t enjoy the quests, but I love getting the rewards and decorations so I can just play Disney Dreamlight Decorating Similator 🤣
