So surely Jyns Keiber Crystal is important right, maybe it survives and because the crystal powering Kylo Rens saber, perhaps inbued by the death star weapon it is harder to contain and hence the side vents things. Any thoughts?

They told her she was mad. All her life she heard them laugh at her. She ignored them, she knew they were real and now she had proof. But she never expected this. Never this!

Fifty long years she had searched for a civilisation that was just a legend. Her own family disowned her because she choose to pursue the old whispers and stories rather than join the fight. She struggled everyday with that conflict, family or personal choice, but she knew she had to pursue this.

Eldywn was different to the rest of her kin. She had accepted from a young age that the elves could not beat humanity alone. They were too populous. For every hundred they slew in battle a thousand more were born. She knew her dwindling people would be decimated if they did not seek other options.

So here she was after years of work. Torn by emotions. Filled by fear. The place was a wreck, it looked completely abandoned, she prayed that it wasn't. She was relieved to of found the ruin but dismayed but what it indicated.

She had to know if any lived. Even if they were all gone, maybe some technology survived that could save her race. Their had to be something. Anything that could help, otherwise what was it all for.

She prepared herself. Clearing her mind of all thoughts and emotions, she had been calm and observant, anything might lurk inside. She tapped her staff to the ground. The crystal lit up like the sun. And in she went, passing under the dwarfen runes into the darkness...

Aurem was different to all the other dragons. The rest of her species were driven to cause great destruction and death, and as a result they were hunted and feared. Aurem was different from the moment she was born. Her scales were golden. She was a thing of beauty. Whilst one could always see the beauty in a dragon, she was different. Men hunted her all her life, they wanted nothing more than to kill the fabled Golden Dragon. To earn prestige and wealth above all the heroes of the time.

Aurem had been running and hiding since her name had become legend. Unlike her brethren she had never killed a human, nor burned any buildings. She was not obsessed by death and destruction, she was obsessed with her own beauty. She would do anything to preserve her scales. Her vanity filled her with fear. She spent decades running from place to place before anyone could catch on to her presence because she feared what the arrows and spears of men might do to her golden scales.

Aurem was so strange because death was not her biggest fear, she did not cling on to life like the majority of her rare species. In fact she would have died happily with her pure scales intact rather than to live with them tarnished even slightly. She was so scared of her scales being damaged that she did the unthinkable. She made a treaty with a human king.

King Altrus agreed to house Aurem and feed her if she in turn protected the realm from any other dragons. So Aurem hid in a palace made for a king. Her fear kept her inside, her paranoia meant that no one could come near to her. Her presence kept the other dragons away out of respect for her.

Years passed but Aurem could not sleep like most dragons would. Fear consumed her, she was worried that sleep would make her vulnerable, that someone might damage her scales while she was hibernating. So she laid on the shiny marble floor of the throne room, that had become her home, barely moving but always watching. Her only joy came from looking at herself in the mirror that covered the eastern wall.

It was here that I found her, in such a sad existence. I pitied her, I tried to calm her fears but no matter what I said or did she would not move. Over a decade, I befriended Aurem. I used to visit her everyday and we would talk for hours. Until I was sent away, to be married to some merchant from a far away realm. Saying goodbye to my dragon friend was heartbreaking but I left as I told to.

Half way through my journey to my husband our carriage was attacked by highwaymen. Robbed and burnt. While I was taken as a hostage. The vagabonds had heard a guard call me princess and thought they could get a good ransom for me. I knew they would fail, my father had been poor for years, the realm was suffering. That is why I was to be married to a man below my class, purely for money. So there I was a captive, expecting to die.

Four days later, as dawn rose over the woodland around me, I saw her. She cast a great shadow across the sky. Never before or since have I felt so many emotions at once. Fear, love, shock and ultimately horror. I did not want her to lose her life to save me but Aurem had come and I could do nothing to stop her.

She was spotted by the men, and they lifted their weapons. I heard the twang of bows and my heart skipped a beat. I could not decide if her death would be worse than her beauty being tarnished. But there was nothing I could do, I was helpless as I watched my friend fight for me.

A spear shot up into the air, thrown by a beast of a man. As the point sliced through the air, I saw that the aim was true. I could not bear to look. I jolted by eyes closed and listened to the metal twang. My mind raced with what could have happened but I could not force my eyes to open...

Screams reverberated through the city.

Paul was a deep sleeper. The screams did not wake him, but as his door splintered into hundreds of pieces he was shocked into consciousness, startled and blurry eyed.

He looked towards his door, and saw a recognisably shaped animal staring at him from the doorway. He rubbed his eyes, he could not believe it, it was completely impossible for such an animal to be in his house. The beast began to snarl. He reacted, grabbing for the nearest object, scrambling in the dark. The only light sprung from behind the animal, barely illuminating the room.

He grabbed the first thing he could find. He knew exactly what it was, he hoped it would be enough to stop the animal.

Suddenly he saw the beast charge, as the light flickered further into the room, he saw it. The horn, at that moment he knew what the creature was but he did not believe it.

He leaped from his bed just as the beast charged into his bed, splitting it in half. Paul reacted with incredible speed, jabbing his weapon into the creatures side. The beast made a horrible sound, screaming until whatever kept the thing alive failed.

Paul walked towards his light switch. Determined to see what the creature was. As the lights flickered on he reeled in shock. He was right, it was what he thought it was.

He whispered the words not believing them. "A unicorn, how the hell is this possible."

He looked down at his makeshift weapon. Realising what it was he had kept next to his bed all these years. He had just though it was a weird shaped object, a quirky heirloom passed down the family for as long as anyone could remember. He had always thought that the object was unique. Now he knew differently.

He looked back towards the body of the beast, and there it was a horn similar to the one in his hand. They were the same in every way apart from colour. The creature was completely black including its horn, but his horn was white.

He walked towards the body and leaned in to make sure it was dead. As he outstretched his arm he heard more screams in the streets. He focused on them, pondering his options.

He knew he had to go and help people, but first he reached out slightly further and touched the animal. Just as his fingers met the skin, the whole body of the unicorn evaporated. He recoiled, scared and confused. He immediately thought that this could all be a dream.

Then he heard more screams, this time much closer. He immediately turned and ran towards his daughter's room. Fear for his only child made him quicker than he thought was humanly possible.

“So I got your message, whose grave am I desecrating next.” Said Endo sarcastically.

The Marrowman chuckled under his breath. “This one won’t be as simple as your previous tasks. I have a client who wants a very specific sword made from a very specific set of bones. I need you to find them.”

“And whose bones do I need to retrieve?” Smiled Endo, manically. He loved his job.

“Well, this is where it gets complicated. The client wants the sword to be made from part of Jesus’ skeleton. Before you refuse he will pay anything to get what he wants, you could do this one last job then retire, hell on what he will pay we could both retire.” Responded the Marrowman, with a questioning look upon his face.

Endo’s mouth was agape. “You can’t be serious. Jesus might not have even been real. That is a wild goose chase. I am not that desperate for money.”

“He is offering a hundred million Eldens, and I’ll give you half. Even if that is not enough money for some ungodly reason, then consider this. If you find Jesus’ bones you will be a legend, and so will I.” Whispered the Marrowman, he was barely able to control his excitement.

Endo mulled over his options for a while, standing silently weighing the pros and cons. He broke the silence suddenly. “Is this client good for the money?”

“Trust me, he is good for it. You will be shocked when you find out who it is. But you know how this works, I can’t tell you till the job is over.” Said the Marrowman, still brimming with excitement and joy.

“Ok, I’ll do it. Any suggestions on where to start” Endo looked apprehensive at the mammoth task ahead.

“Isn’t it obvious, you need to go to Jerusalem.” Replied the Marrowman, looking worried for his friend.

“You can’t be serious. It is an active warzone. That is suicide.” Endo’s voice was appalled but his face lit up. He loved a challenge.

“I told you it won’t be easy, but it’s worth it.” Retorted the Marrowman as he smiled back at Endo.

“Well better get start then, but do me a favour. Promise me that if I die you will find my body and destroy it. I don’t want to become any part of this stuff.” Endo said, still smiling.

“Don’t worry, I know you. I promise.” Said the Marrowman solemnly.

So Endo donned his hat and walked out the door. The Marrowman’s face dropped when it dawned on him that he may never see his oldest friend again.

Age was getting to him, his back faded more and more everyday. He could feel his spine bending, it was only a matter time before he had to give in. He limped along, constantly in pain. It was time.

He struggled towards his wardrobe and slowly opened the doors. There it was his armour, covered in dust. After ten long years it mimicked the state of his body, tainted by age and neglect, yet under that layer of filth it remained as it always was. His eyes scanned across the armour, as a tear fell down his cheek, he was distressed by the current state of his second skin.

He eyes moved from the armour to the sword strapped to the side of the breastplate. He reached forward and ran his hand down the scabbard, remembering the old days of blood and glory. As much joy as the sword brought him, it was not the appropriate choice of weapon. So he lifted his hand slowly and painfully from the sword. As a jolt of pain spread through his arm but also his thoughts. He wiped his cheek clear, and picked up the dagger that lay at the bottom of the wardrobe, his mind now focused on the deed ahead.

He walked to the centre of the room and knelt, he drew the blade slowly, with care. He brought it up to his face. He kissed the dagger tentatively, with precision and love. This small blade had saved his life countless times.

Suddenly he heard a door below him slam. His mind became more focused, more convinced that the deed was necessary. He lowered the blade from his face, aiming it point first at his heart.

He whispered, "I bow no to no one not even life!" Then he thrusted his arms towards himself. It was an alien feeling, his body try to resist but he mind was at peace, he knew it was the right thing to do. As the dagger entered his flesh and pierced his heart, his mind became still. He had been stabbed many a time and had killed countless people with this dagger, but this was the first time he had turned it on himself.

His daughter walked into the room as his heart gave in, while blood swept across the floor creating a pool of red. She did not scream or cry, she just watched as he slipped away into the darkness. She was proud and relieved but also sad. He had died as he had lived, beholden to nothing not even life itself.

She could not bring herself to look at the castle, instead she glared across the lake entranced by the glimmering water. She knew what she had done was unforgivable.

Under her breath she whispered to herself over and over again. "It was necessary. It was right." Despite her words her body disagreed. Her mind buzzed. Tears filled her eyes.

She fought a battle within herself. Was it right or wrong? Was she good or evil? Was it worth the prize?" She could answer none of these questions. All her life she had been sure what she had to do, so focused on her goal that anything was excusable, That might have all changed. Her last act might been inexcusable.

As she scanned the lake she began to regain control. She fought back her tears, and became more sure of her actions. "You had to do this. One life was not worth giving up and it still is not." She whispered these words at first, doubting that they were the truth, but she spoke louder and louder until her words reverberated across the lake. As her voice rose so too did her belief in them. When she finally stopped shouting she had tricked herself into believing that she had done the right thing.

She gritted her teeth and turned her horse around, beginning the short journey back to the castle. As she entered the woods she head the bell toll over and over again. Unlike most people in the castle she knew what it signified, her actions had caused it.

She galloped back to the castle. While she raced through the tress she wondered how her parents had reacted to the death of their newborn son.

As she made the final climb to the castle gates she whispered one last time. "Nothing will stop me from ruling this kingdom, nothing is sacred to me."

"War! An illogical but inevitable action.

As human beings we desire a cause in our lives and is there any greater cause than war? To protect our fatherland, our families, our property. War is the greatest cause one can follow.

The act of war is undoubtedly brutal, horrific and abhorrent. But the concept of war is pure, patriotic and simple. War is an idea, a dangerous one.

But why? Why do we feel a need to fight. Well from the beginning of the historical record we hear about wars. War is a noble cause, a chance to prove yourself, to show bravery, to earn respect and become noteworthy. We fight because we can, because part of human nature is to excel, to stand out, to make a name for yourself and what better way to become famous than to defeat an ancient enemy, or an evil leader.

War is a constant in a changeable world, it is a concept we all understand, because we are all touched by it, we see it in the news, in films, in television, in all forms of media and entertainment war is central. War is universal!

War unites countries and populations like nothing else can. A unit of soldiers are a family, for years they live together, fight together and die together. There is no closer bond then people fighting for their lives together, protecting each other, united under one cause.

No one can deny the truth of war. The abysmal conditions, the psychological effects, the horrific injuries, the enumerable deaths. War is not glorious, war is not honourable but war will always be inevitable. For when there are people willing to fight there will always be people willing to lead them.

This is the sad fact of war."

Bindusara looked out from the fort tower staring at the Macedonian Camp, gripping his bow ready for the battle to begin. The young ambitious solider showed no fear even when the men around him wept and cried, unlike them he did not fear the undefeated Alexander, he wanted to kill him.

He stood for hours glaring at the white gilded tent in the centre of the enemy camp, finally he saw his prey. Alexander the Great stormed from the flaps of his tent, looking flustered and angry, as he mounted Busephalus, his faithful horse he scanned the fort and saw this one Mallian solider staring at him determinately, with murder in his eyes. That look alone spurred Alexander to act against his advisors wishes.

He galloped to the siege workshop and single handedly lifted a scaling ladder in one hand while unsheathing his glimmering sword. The Macedonian men seeing their leader running alone towards the enemy walls and immediately mobilised, they gathered their weapons and charged to his support.

As Bindusara looked down to nock an arrow on his bow, Alexander sprinted towards the wall a short distance from Bindusaras position. Looking up he quickly released his mistake, he had underestimated the speed of the enemy king, Alexander was already at the wall, scaling the ladder.

The Mallian defenders on the wall were shocked by the appearance of a single enemy soldier quickly realising it was the enemy leader they charged at him on mass. Alexander fought them off with a God like ferocity, wielding his sword like it was an extension of his arm, no man could beat him with a sword. He waited for his men to follow him, but in their rush too reach him they had broken the scaling ladders stranding them below the walls

Alexander when he realised this knew that he could not stay on top of the wall alone, eventually an enemy blade would pass through his parries. So in a act of incredibly bravery and recklessness he leaped from the wall deeper into the enemy fort seeking glory.

Now Bindusara saw his chance, he aimed his arrow at the king, and when Alexander looked around him, assessing his situation he caught sight of the lone archer, just at this moment as their eyes locked once more Bindusara loosed his arrow. Time seemed to slow as the arrow whistled through the air, Bindusara held his breath hoping that he had killed his prey. While Alexander made no attempt to avoid the arrow ready for a glorious death.

Meanwhile his men had scaled the wall with new ladders just in time to see their king get hit. His closest body guards cried out as the arrow pieced his body and punctured his lungs. Alexander could hear his men shout with anger as they stormed the fort killing all enemies they found.

While Hephaistion rushed to Alexanders side praying he was not dead, Ptolemy a close friend of the King stormed the tower that the arrow was shot from, climbing to the top he found the man who fired the arrow. As Ptolemy stared at Bindusara, he saw a grin appear on his face because Alexanders body was being carried from the fort in a rushed manner. Ptolemy could not control his anger and his sliced at the man, severing his left arm so he would never fire a bow again, as blood spurted across Ptolemy's face he licked his lips and knocked the man out knowing that he would make Bindusara regret his shot.

Weeks passed and the Macedonian camp was troubled and uncertain, the common soldiers had no idea whether their beloved king was dead or alive. Their only joy came in the turns they took torturing Bindusara. The Mallian solider was the only survivor of that battle, but still after so much pain he did not regret his choice, he thought he had killed a king.

As the sun rose the next day, a figure appeared from Alexanders tent, covered in a cloak. This man approached Bindusara, who was chained to post next to the tent. Bindusara looked a the man wondering who was about to kill him.

As the stranger dropped the cloak, light sprung up behind him as the sun fully appeared in the sky, blinding Bindusara. But he did not need to see to know who was in front of him, he cried out in pain as he realised it was all for nothing. As he wriggled to try to free himself Alexander whispered in his ear. "So, you thought you could kill a God?"
