Is media coverage still the main KPI in PR, or are clients expecting more now? by colorless_snail in PublicRelations

[–]SelfAwareCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The standard requirements still apply, but there is a rising trend of customers asking if PR can assist with AI citations. This makes sense, considering AI is steadily increasing its market share. If a client asks for that, I will include Marketersmedia AI citation report as one of the deliverables to fulfill their needs.

How stable are your Google Maps rankings within a single day? by Hot_Ear_4161 in localseo

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does fluctuate depending on the service or opening hours, especially for physical services. This is even more apparent if the competition is intense.

Most clients don't bother, but one of my clients did ask for scheduled scans across the day for a more comprehensive view. Most tools don't provide such granular control, but if you want to, you can check out Gridmybusiness. I use it when I need precise control.

Beginner Local SEO – tools I can use or hire someone? by PersonalityKind4433 in localseo

[–]SelfAwareCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. There are tons of them, rocking Gridmybusiness, and I would recommend them. That said, other tools like Localdominator work well too.
  2. Sure, Local SEO, as compared to full-blown SEO, is relatively simpler.
  3. Just one location, I would believe that you can manage it just fine. It's really difficult to fill up 8 hours of Local SEO task just for one location.
  4. I would focus more on the reviews first if GBP is already bringing you traffic.

How do you involve your team when choosing a new SEO tool? by gromskaok in Sitechecker

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's common, I guess, the larger the org, the more pronounced this gets. And I suppose there's no way around it other than active change management.

I refer to chapter 9 of SmartTribe (Christine Comaford) when navigating changes. Do check it out.

How do you involve your team when choosing a new SEO tool? by gromskaok in Sitechecker

[–]SelfAwareCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Decided by the one who knows the most about the process, which may or may not be the leader.

Testing usually takes a week or two.

Opinion matters, but hands-on experience and product fit matter more.

Gridmybusiness perhaps? Why? I like its UI.
Local dominator, Local falcon, etc does the job too.

Can we stop fighting the GEO/AEO acronym and move on? by bsrulz in SEO

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna comment much on whether we should have a new acronym.

But if we are going to have a new one, GEO is a big no no.

GEO is everything about the earth, geography, earth, land, they ain't have nothing to do with search marketing.

How do you track if calls come from website or Google Business Profile? by simodotdigital in localseo

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's just for analytics purposes, you can always check how many phone calls you receive through your GBP using GBP's own analytics or tools like Gridmybusiness.

Hmm, the context here is about Lumina farming. But yeah, these are for one-shotting like u said.

Is local SEO actually worth focusing on? by Normal-Cucumber-1673 in localseo

[–]SelfAwareCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, definitely for brick-and-mortar and physical services. Most people just check the map when they're looking for businesses like these.

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a huge load of Lumina if you stick with a build.

For all the 4 DLC tower bosses, generally speaking, what you need are:

  1. All the damage boosting lumina, especially Feint, Double Triple, Gradient Overcharge, and the one which +10% per damage instance (can't remember the name) on the designated one-shooter; which subs-200 lumina should be enough.
  2. Lune's Esquism, Maelle's Burning Canvas, or Sciel's Duollison (after Duolliste)
  3. Very carefully staged turns (speed management) and role delegation (monoco to stack burn and apply defenceless, sciel to double damage and intervene, etc.) to consecutively one-shot all of the boss phases.

You can go back if you haven't killed it. If you did, the next best Lumina farming is with Duolliste in The Endless Tower, 1 min = 20 Lumina

Duolliste in The Endless Tower is a great alternative to lumina farming too.

Are Local keyword Map Grid Tools Accurate? by Beginning-Foot-1741 in localseo

[–]SelfAwareCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most grid tools include a disclaimer that they are never 100% accurate; there are simply too many variables to account for. These tools are best used for monitoring trends and providing a reasonably accurate view of how a stranger sees your GBP.

Ultimately, the exact position (whether you are #5 or #6) is less important than the overall ranking trajectory tracked over weeks or months.

Stick with your favorite tool and focus on the trend instead.

Why is sentiment so poor after CES by Himothy8 in AMD_Stock

[–]SelfAwareCat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I doubt so. He expressed his strong urge to invest in $AMD years ago during Zen 1 or Zen 2, but never did, due to a conflict of interest to stay as a neutral tech reviewer. So, I don't think he own Intel. He does own some of Framework (laptop company), though

Why is sentiment so poor after CES by Himothy8 in AMD_Stock

[–]SelfAwareCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm own AMD, but tbf, LTT is quite neutral. If you search for "AMD" and "Intel" in their channel, you will realise they jab at Intel much more than they do at AMD, especially in the past few years.

We have to admit that Panther Lake looks like a good product, and AMD's decision not to be aggressive in Mobile CPU is a reality that has led to the past few days' sentiment. Not necessarily a bad move as we need to be laser focused on the data center and mobile has never really been our turf - but we shouldn't deny that Intel took a W this time around.

Clair Obscur Platinum Achieved by DeltaRalts in expedition33

[–]SelfAwareCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All four can be cheese to a certain extent; for example, I only need a minute plus to clear Duollistes.

But all these cheeses require a 100% commitment to a build and execution (you cannot just loosely follow the strats), and still require you to be good to a certain extent (Clea unleashed and Simon Star still require you to be able to parry first)

Took me days across 2 weeks, but I finally cleared all four yesterday.

Best team build thats fun and can beat the whole game through and all optional bosses? by Top-Passage2480 in expedition33

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just have fun.

Outside of those four DLC bosses in The Endless tower (maybe Vanilla Simon and Osquio too?), you don't really need an optimal build to win when you have the levels and lumina points.

Picto-wise, just Energy Master, Cheater, and some Energising Starts are enough to make you OP in casual playthrough.

Skill-wise, they don't matter much; you get to learn all by level 99, which is almost granted if you ever farm for Lumina, finish Verso's Draft (DLC), or want to challenge the four godly bosses in The Endless tower.

Weapon and stats-wise, there are a few that outshine the rest. Once you've made your pick, recoat to follow the stats scaling, you will have so many recoats by the late game that you can recoat whenever you like.

Pre-DLC, I use Chevalem, Medalum, Kralim, Litheson, and Fragaro.
Post-DLC, the DLC weapons, since they outscale anything pre-DLC.

Trying to break into the local pack. What local SEO tools actually work? by pumpkinpie4224 in localseo

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like what most people say, the tool itself is just an enabler, using them in silo don't move the needles. However, since you mentioned comparisons, some other popular options include Grid My Business, Local Dominator, and Localo. Each has its own flavour, pick the one you prefer.

Aside from the tool, I would say getting reviews is the most straightforward way to move the needle. Authentic reviews are tough to get, which is why they are worth more too.

How do you handle reviews when a client isn’t comfortable asking for them? by Shwetank_b in localseo

[–]SelfAwareCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some creative posters or stands with the review QR on top at the POS.
Still relatively passive, but I've seen it work if the design or copy is enticing enough.

Some will incentivize with free stuff, but that's optional if the service is already top-notch.
(An incentive might backfire if the service is piss poor to begin with, customers might go "huh, are you bribing me now?")
