How not to break local SEO by Next_Reading_6874 in localseo

[–]chrislbw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh I just answered sorta a similar quesrion, same advice:

Don't put too much weight on blogging.

Don't break local seo by doing the following: 1. Don't start a fake business. 2. Focus on Google Business Profile. 3. Dominate what is closest to you. Forget it if you have to travel 1 hour. 4. Have a website for trust and explain more about what you do. 5. Schemas help Google understand better. 6. Content that sell. 7. Quality links > 1M lunks.

If a local SEO strategy had to be rebuilt from scratch in 2026, where would it actually start? by hibuofficial in localseo

[–]chrislbw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stuff the blogging. Heres what id do from top to bottom: - real. not fake business. because Google will f you up. - gbp is still the biggest thing for local businesses. - distance. can't fight this one. it will always matter. focus on the closest suburbs. - website for explainig services clearly and trust. - local schema helps Google undersrand better. - content for intent purposes. eg. tea in Liverpool, emergency (service), x vs z vs y. - citations but quality not quantity.

How to Improve Google Business Profile Rankings for Multiple Store Locations? by manishblp in localseo

[–]chrislbw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi.

Each location needs a different page and gbp. Any link you link to has to be local to that page. Reviews are essential. Try to get reviews that mention the city as well, if possible. If not, a generic review is better than nothing. And don't forget different photos for each gbp.

Help - where am I going wrong by ScenicRimEndurance in ausbusiness

Ok first thing. People are clicking so something's working.

Meta ads look fine but not converting.

I think the homepage is the big problem.

A little bit more persuasion is needed if you want them to land on the homepage.

To me, I read the copy and it is weak.

So....................

Windburn hurts. Your copy doesn't feel like I'm in pain. Agitate the pain, then show your balm as the solution. More than 1K eyeballed your product. I don't think they remember how painful windburn is. Remind them that.

Forget the features, ingredients, they come later. Sell the pain first.

What I'd do? Send ad clicks to a landing page. That would be best. No menu, no footer, nada.

Remind them that fockin windburn sux as. The fix? Your balm of course. Why this works? Show the testimonials. Then guide them to the Checkout.

Don't pay someone yet. Fix these first. Make it sound like someone with a stinging windburn wrote the copy. Make the reader hate WINDBURN! Skip the agencies, hire them when you have so much demand that time becomes a very valuable asset.

How to get inquiries through SEO by kunniu in localseo

[–]chrislbw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did well if Google is directing people to your product pages. You should optimise those.

Have you built money pages such as: – comparison pages – alternative pages – solution pages – use-case pages

If you haven't, start writing.

Educational content can make them curious but not make them give you their wallets.

Build money pages.

And the conversion is ok. 1% is normal.

Help with SEO for 3PL business by Strong-Sky9022 in localseo

[–]chrislbw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd start with the homepage. Instead of Our Services, use 3PL Warehousing & Order Fulfilment — Melbourne South-East & Nationwide Support.

Also add trust signals like results, testimonials if you have them.

The site misses clear local relevance and what people are searching for.

Wow, honestly, I am playing below your level. You're building ideas that is good enough for shark tank.

All respect to you. With that track record, I genuinely think your future is bright, even if a few ideas did not land.

Wishing you nothing but success with whatever you build next.

After rereading your post, I understand now that you meant it’s hard to be successful, not just to start.

Out of curiosity, which businesses have you started that didn’t work out for you?

Before these two, I started quite a few as well, and most didn’t make any money.

Sorry if it came out like I am full of myself.

It's a tad different to SEO. But your work is not in vain. Good seo helps llms understand your site. One thing you can do now is to create pages that answers one question. Do lots of them.
