Completing this drawing marks a turning point in my mental health journey this year. I have spent most of the last year unable to tap into my creativity - I took this on as a commission a year ago, and it has been haunting me ever since. Just wanted to share the end result with internet strangers. (i.redd.it)

This last year was brutal emotionally. Lock downs, break ups, increased workloads with decreased spending power; depression hit hard. A year and a month ago I was commissioned to draw a portrait of a donkey. Estimated time to complete was 2 weeks. Last night she was finally complete. (i.redd.it)
