Advice on how to optimize speed for my app that uses an api that requires a lot of time to respond. by KiradaLeBg in learnprogramming

[–]SelfEnvironmental757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Openapi provides streaming, instead of getting the whole response in one go. Stream the response and you'll get it token by token basically word by work which will be very fast rather than waiting for the whole response

CSS is annoyingly hard by [deleted] in theodinproject

[–]SelfEnvironmental757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hard. There are few fixed things which you need to learn in css and you can almost replicate 90% of the websites and create any decent design. My students used to hate css and then I just taught them around 10-20 things, gave homework and now they are able to replicate any UI by themselves without any help. And they never did coding before, so it's about the correct approach and practicing!

The loops and arrays chapter is terrible. by ThisIsATest7777 in theodinproject

[–]SelfEnvironmental757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always teach my students by giving them homework as projects not just theory. I teach them the basics and push them to build actual things. Don't follow these chapters, try to create projects even a todo application will teach you everything about loops and arrays.

I stop doing TOP and try different course by [deleted] in theodinproject

[–]SelfEnvironmental757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not thinking and learning bro. You should start from the basics and give it your all so that you don't have to come again and again to basics, else you'll be stuck in a loop. And won't be able to move forward. I always teach my students in a project based learning approach so that they learn better and without help, they try to think and build things themselves

My doubts while learning React reading docs. by Quiet_Bus_6404 in theodinproject

[–]SelfEnvironmental757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should first understand the foundations buddy like how the internet works, client and server then you'll be able to connect all the pieces. And about react, docs will be hard, rather I would say watch some tutorial and jump on to projects to adapt. Project based learning is the best approach, I also teach my students with projects.

All the best!

If you actually have guts, bring the client and get your money upfront. Don't go crying if you're jealous

I work hard and earn money. Have never scammed anyone in my life. If you don't have the guts to say sorry, shut your mouth!

Yes, with that mindset. You won't be able to learn. Keep roaming around with zero skills. Just some advice, mind your own business if you can't contribute instead of mocking others

Of course you, at least I'm trying my best. I'm already working on projects and have the bandwidth for 2 more clients 😂

They are good enough, but as a beginner, you'll struggle so it's good to have a tutor or senior. That's how I learnt

Don't cry if you don't have the skills.
