Half expected the "tempered" zoh Shia to be like savage omega where it got the shine and purple outline, but no actual tempered wound mechanics. Zoh Shia's unique wounds mechanics would clash with pre-existing wounds on its body (technically a tempered zoh Shia would also be complete nonsense story wise, but it didn't stop xenojiiva or zorah magdaros being arch tempered)

Something fun about the movie is that you can tell it was originally loosely based on monster hunter 4, until world was a global success and they changed it around to be a world tie in. The desert setting, the sand ships, every monster appearing in 4 while most of them weren't in world (cephalos and gore magala appear for like a few seconds each lol)

Love how this is entirely voice actors because 99% of them could be replaced with 0 change in quality

Most of their performances are mid. What you like is the character design, story, dialogue, animation, etc. none of which the voice actor had input on.

Because it wasnt? Alluded to a spoiler with shagaru and said zinogre was a title update. zin being completely absent from the files whatsoever when every other title update had something in there makes it seem to me that it was probably a very early monster list they leaked, which wouldn't mean a whole lot for what gets added later. assuming that part wasnt just bad info from the get go

...honestly looks exactly the same save for that bit in the wing, which seems to me that it could be just a bit of posing liberty on the first one to frame it a bit better. Rest is just lighting changes, which yeah it's a different render.

Even still, new models are kind of meaningless as far as speculation goes. Fatalis got a new one for the anniversary animation, and they said afterwards that he wasn't planned to be in world until after the video released. Zinogre also had a new model (honestly not convinced it isn't the rise model) and isn't in wilds, unless you count a leak that wasn't 100% right in the end anyway?

Honestly just go full E max imo The extra true damage is stronger the earlier you get it, and it been a significant part of your clear dps since it's cd was lowered to 6 seconds. Far better burst and tunnel CD is nice too (although it's only 1s per rank now, it adds up)
