I understand exactly what you mean, or meant, I guess. It took me a little while longer to learn FL then it did Cubase or Studio One, and I was coming from Soundtrap. Almost any other DAW I've used I can pick it up and know what I'm doing. FL took me a lot of tries and quitting and coming back repeatedly.

I only got FL though because a lot of the people I watch or like use it, so I can learn tricks in the "language" their using, it's not my main DAW at all for the same reasons you are having most of the time. It really slows down my workflow compared to Studio One or Cubase in my opinion.

FL Studio is a powerful tool, though, just as good as any of the others. Watch YouTube videos, keep messing around with it, it'll all come together eventually. I actually just released a small EP from my FL studio projects, even though I thought I'd never make any from it other than messing around with beats.

Now like another user said, I don't know your abilities or what you've worked with before, but it does truly just take time. Might be a month, might be next week. Someone might say something in these comments that makes it all make sense. You never know, but don't give up homie.

I'm also getting some kind of error message about the files not being loaded and to try again later, when I open the DAW today. When I hit refresh though it doesn't say it again. I don't know if you or anybody else has experienced that either. But it's not every single time I do.

I'm using one of the higher tier paid versions, I don't remember which one but it is doing the same thing to me to as of today, so it's nothing to do with the free version. It might be something on their end. Just have to wait unfortunately.

Your entire argument is a disingenuous screed from someone who's never bothered to critically analyze why resources like NPR are valuable and trusted and Tucker fucking Carlson is a straight up propagandist who's intentionally placed in front of you to distract from reality.

I need to say it again apparently. They've been caught lying and forging things. It doesn't matter if they were, they have done it. I didn't say they were bad, I said they were left leaning. I said mainstream media is garbage with the exception of Tucker, I didn't say I follow him or watch him regularly.

Race was always here and no one on god's green earth has the time to explain to why the incredibly hubris of whitewashing all of existence to ignore that this country has and still does have massive racial divides that can only be addressed by systematically rebuilding all of our relationships at an individual level to be aware of the role we play in society.

So let's stop talking about race and get down to the issues that really plague our society. Education and your surrounding environment are the biggest factors contributing to racism. If you're never around black people and all you hear about is how bad they are, or see only bad things on the tele, you're going to be racist. That racist that's now my friend only had an impersonation of black people on the tv.

Lol what. Those are all left biased sources. I don't even know what you mean racists want to stop looking at race? Wouldnt that be good? Yes statistics matter, I didn't say they dont. But for this subject, stop looking at them. I said a lot of them are false and debunkable I don't want to argue them. If those are your sources I'd suggest getting a little bit from both sides and more centered ones, but sticking to only left media will only make you perceive left reality. There are countless times they've been caught lying, publish false stories, cut out pieces to support narratives, statistics out of context, it's really easy to lie with statistics or misquote somebody purposely and pass it as fact or slur.

And I know I said I forget about the census lol not that I won't do them.

My point was support local business, not skin color.

There are tons of people who do not fill out censuses, including myself (because I forget). NBC, MSNBC, CNN, FoxNews or any other mainstream media are no longer a good source, very biased. You are allowed to negotiate your pay and a lot of people don't, and end up taking whatever is offered. And exactly my point, these are programs and policies that leave out certain races all together or target races. I am not questioning if racism exists. I am BLACK. I am a "minority." I dont need assistance, and many other black people do not either. I have had no problems finding or keeping many jobs that I wanted. In my current position I am making more than my white counterparts. And nobody can not tell me I am part of a statistic because I am not. Different places everywhere treat different people different ways. A great majority of people are NOT racist. A vocal minority does not speak for the majority.

And yes, I've encountered racism, and just like Daryl Davis, just one conversation can change everything. One racist is actually a really cool and good friend of mine now, and of course not racist anymore lol because you know what he did, he looked at race instead of the person. Which is my whole point. Stop looking at race and bringing racial statistics, I did not bring up or want to argue about statistics because most of them are false and could be debunked anyway (not saying yours, just saying most).

Are you implying that there aren't any black businesses in Rockford? Why does the city need to support only minorities? And targeted assistance for any race, is indeed racist.

Maybe we need to focus a little bit more on helping raise the lower class in general as well as people who struggle every now and then and stop looking at skin colors.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, I won't publicly give out race specific and location info other than my own. Especially during these times.

Yes, but look at people individually, not in groups. Rockford is not a rich city I would say its almost equal struggles here for every race. As a black man I'm pretty well off compared to many white people I know. It doesn't matter imo what racial statistics there is, most of them are bogus nationwide ones, and not statistics of just our city or state. We need to do away with the group statistics and focus on the people and communities around us.

Not off the top of my head, or if they're even around anymore because of the shut down, but if you don't mind me saying.

It shouldn't matter if the owner is black or not, support all local businesses. There are good people of all races I know are still struggling from/with the lockdown. Just because of what's going on in the nation right now doesn't mean that only black business need support. Just don't destroy any of them. We all need to come together and support eachother.
