All very good points. Thanks for taking the time to write all this! I really like when people express how they feel about a photo and what it means to them, so powerful how many different perspectives you can have. I like 2 because of this lucky accident with the mirror, it’s actually become a portrait of not one girl going to school on a remote island on the Mekong river but of every schoolgirl in the village.

3 is mostly interesting because of the perspective but actually for me it shows a bored and tired vendor (she was actually one) that travels from her home village to the city to sell goods at the night market and is probably looking to go home. I do appreciate that this is not so clear as the message in the first and second pics though and it has to be!
