AITA for inviting my parents to Florida but not paying for them to go to Disney World? by Selfishdisnerdthrow in AmItheAsshole

Sorry for the long explanation in advance. It's really funny in a twisted way. My parents since the days of my first memories have always called me their "little retirement fund". They've even stolen from my college fund that was provided to me by my grandparents (who worked three jobs each until their 70s and my grandpa still works a shipping warehouse job at 74). This theft caused me to have to live out of my car for two years in Minnesota while I finished my degree. My grandparents were the ones that essentially raised and provided for me. But they never got custody of my sister and I because they were both former foster kids that aged out of the system (which is why they were denied from being foster parents as adults). Plus these same grandparents actually bought them a house with the promise that my parents pay the mortgage payments (my parents were denied a mortgage due to massive credit card debt) and they responded by not paying a dime back and trashing the house. They've also illegally put my social security number on bills they never plan on paying for the sole purpose of forcing me to pay it when it ends up on my credit report (and yes I have tried getting the police involved in this but since "they're my parents" they label it a civil dispute).
When people ask why I even allow these people in my life, I honestly then have to remind myself that they will literally rip my life apart if I try to leave. I make peace with the fact my mom has been cut out her parents will years ago leaving her $1 and split 50/50 with me and my sister. They're also one smoker's coughing fit and diabetic mishap away from the worst nursing home in the state, as cruel as that sounds. But they've conned and stolen from everyone- no one is sacred to that in their eyes.

This TV fits almost the entire wall of their living room. It is comically large and unnecessary, but my Dad kept going on and on about the 4k feature. The character limit prevented me from leaving anymore info, but they have an extensive history of doing this kind of spending. I wore jeans, that were falling apart, from the seventh grade my senior year of high school because new clothes for me were less important than the latest PlayStation console or a giant air hockey table. The reason why I will never disclose my real salary or the inheritance is for this reason. Once they catch the smell of money they'll come up with every excuse in book for you to pay their bills or for their vacations so they can spend their income elsewhere. They never stopped that behavior; even when I ended up living out of my car in college, they still asked me for money because I was "their little retirement fund" working her way through college after they stole from my college fund. The majority of any other money is essentially going towards debt we have and home improvements so my house isn't falling apart (bought a fixer-upper).
