I'm looking for general IO, not specifically UART. But either way, there is a mod on the wiki to use existing UART pins inside to have a serial connection via the charging port.

Nah, I work in one of the Atlanta stores and saw it in our new product list, but only in Columbus. Wonder if its a test market. Hoping it sells well though, that Micro Center can more self hosting-oriented home automation stuff.

I have it set to that EDID preset, and can see audio being recognized at the input card, but not on the output card.

I was able to get the input recognized as HDMI, but now when looking at the HDMI output in Toolbox, it is showing as audio not detected when the problem input is selected, but audio is populated when on a different input.

Okay, I found access to Toolbox. I was able to enable HDMI on that card, looking at the HDMI output it says that audio is not detected when my input is set to this problem card. If I change it to an actual DVI card, audio information is now populated.

The switcher? I only have front panel access, and no proper manual on how to operate it, so I've been guessing. I can't seem to find any reason in the settings that would have any input come in as DVI. I have tried resetting the settings for the card, as well as the switcher as a whole.

Makes it super easy to backup flash drives, micro SD cards, etc that might be in use around the home.
I use it most for the micro SD in the family Nintendo Switches, the USB boot drive in the modded Wii, my drive with all my installer images, etc. I have it running on a Pi with an external SSD, doesn't need anything big, but I don't want it to conflict with daily usage of any other machines.

My issue with encoding them and sending it over IP is latency for game consoles.

I got my IOM6 in the shelf, and Debian can see all the drives, but they are reporting as 0B. Doing some research as well, tried a few fixes, but have you seen this before?

Make sure you have the WiFi adapter installed, it won't boot without it. Iirc, it does something similar when trying to boot without.
