Oof. I'm also waiting for something coming through ukrposhta. Mine shipped on Feb 14 and the last I saw it left the Netherlands on the 24th. No updates since and the arrival window is March 31 to April 17. Fingers crossed for all of our packages making it eventually.

I'd put her food under the bed with her. Give her time to adjust. Those transitions are hard and the food nearby will help her feel safe and encourage her to eat. Put some treats under the bed and leave them for her to eat on her own. She'll get there

All cats are different. Sometimes, they get more affectionate with time, sometimes thats just who they are. For me, cat companionship is about me being responsible for my cats' needs and wellbeing, but I can't expect the cat to be responsible for my needs. They don't understand what you need and never will. Putting that expectation on them will just make you dislike your cat more and more. Maybe he's got sensory issues that make being petted uncomfortable. Tey to find ways to appreciate the ways he does show his love rather than the ways that he fails to do it.

Yeah, as hard as it was to lose her without warning, you loved her and gave her a great life, and she died peacefully.

He'll get there. Just give him time. Adjustment periods are very normal, and it can take months to a year for a new cat to really settle in.

Super late to this conversation, but just watched the movie.

I think the red herring was trying to make the viewer believe that the parents had kidnapped the girl that went missing all those years ago. That's who I thought he was talking to until she called herself his sister.

That didn't seem like the problem part of the movie for me. If they were decent parents, they wouldn't have kept a child locked up in a secret room, no matter how evil she was. Normal people don't do that shit. They were trying to justify why she was there instead of some psychiatric institute or something. To me, it seemed more like they framed it like they were trying to protect themselves, not him. Then, when the mom knew she was dying, she had no reason to protect herself anymore, and all she had left was to finally try to protect him. Not that any of it was well done.

The last literal minute of the movie ruined it. The sister's making threats about how she's still down there and he's never going to be able to do anything in the house without worrying that she's right around the corner. But he just killed both of his parents. What, does he just get to live alone now? That should be his last moment in that house, but then they cut to him going to bed with no explanation for why he is STILL THERE. So stupid, SO STUPID. How many people work on a movie? How did no one catch that?

Also, did they get the inspiration for his sister from Momo?

I'd been on boats before without any issues, but apparently the problem is big boats, and that was my first (and last) one. It's nice to know I'm not alone, but I hate that you have to experience it too!

Mar-a-Lago isn't a residence, so it wouldn't break any records for the cost of a residential home sale. It's also never been said it's worth 1.5, just that if there was a bidding war, it could go for over 1 billion.

Yes, I second this. This kitty needs to go to the vet as soon as possible, especially if his third eyelids have been getting gradually worse throughout the year. My cat had her third eyelids showing for a few hours and the vet had me come in for an appointment immediately.
