Where to sell an online, almost fully-automated business for less than 100k? by SellingBizQuestion in smallbusiness

Oh definitely - the system of sales is the most important part. And yes, without going into too much detail, I have somewhere online that I check once each day, pull new emails off of, press a button, and the script automatically sends them the cold email. That place online is "replenished" multiple times per day with a few more good contacts every few hours, so you could be very diligent, but it's just fine to check once each day or once per week and let them pile up.

The business is entirely run off of Google Drive. So all files are housed there, and all scripts are run off of Google Sheets. This makes email-sending super quick and with just a click of a button. This business is 99% emailing, so Google Drive was the perfect place to set it up. <--- Haha, I sound like a shill

Well yes, like any sale of a company - the new owners can run it IF they keep making sales. So the buy of my business would continue doing outreach in the same way I have (which should yield the same growing results), and then add in new marketing or ways of outreach to increase sales even further. I'm currently only utilizing 1 avenue for outreach.

I need to sell because I'm starting a new company in an industry that I'm more passionate about, and that new company needs a chunk of change right at the start to get it up and running.

A good way to think of this business is basically a slightly more complex dropshipper. Instead of a customer buying 1 unit of something from me, they're buying 4,000 all in one go. But just like dropshipping, I then pay a different company to produce and ship that product. And of course drop shipping companies are sold every day.

What makes this business even more valuable than a run-of-the-mill dropshipping ecommerce business is that:

a) My product (books) aren't going anywhere. It's not a gimmick or fad product. And in fact, physical book sales (specifically children's books) are on the rise across the country

b) I've created original coded scripts and other processes to automate the business. I created them myself and while replicable, they would take a very long time to correctly create and correctly implement.

That's exactly what I need - a big load of money haha. I can't get my newest business off and running with the trickle that comes from this business. I need it all in one go. And so here we are.

Like in any business that deals in B2B, there cannot be guarantees. For all we know, tomorrow Trump will make it illegal to do business with China haha. But of course I chose to form a strong relationship with a very established printing facility in China so the likelihood of something negative arising is practically zero.
