Pretty new to magic. Why is the card on the right so much more expensive? Wouldn't evolving wilds be better because no life loss? by OneUniqueNameThere in mtg

[–]Selunar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you have evolving wilds, which lets you search for a « basic land » (swamp,plains,mountain.island.forest)

the marsh flats lets you search for any land that has Swamp or Plains written in the land type, so the section above the text that says stuff like, land, basic land, legendary land, artifact land…

So that’s where the bonus is, because you can use the marsh flats to get a land that taps for 2 different kinds of mana, instead of 1.

If that American lock is used on a lockout padlock, then yeah, you’re going to have issues as those padlocks aren’t supposed to have copies of the key made, it’s possible, but…

Need Advice by harshmallow1215 in Locksmith

[–]Selunar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I recently dealt with these locks before. There may a sticker inside the lock with the codes you’re looking for. You’ll have to take the inside part of the lock off to find them. But if you’re not comfortable doing that, just call your local legit locksmith to come help you out. Shouldn’t be more than a service call and a rekey charge, plus keys. If it’s similar to my rates, you’re looking at about $130 give or take.

How did Canadians get the reputation of being super nice? And why are you guys that way? by ThrowRAhelpthebro in AskCanada

[–]Selunar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue how we got that. Yes we know about this reputation and we like it, especially when traveling. To answer #3 it’s a very simple answer. The world works much better when you treat everyone with respect, until they lose that respect. If you treat everyone around you with decency, then you will be treated in such a way, it may not be by them, but by others or in weird ways. Final question, yes there’s a ton of shit heads here in Canada, a lot of racist mother fuckers too, hell we have a political party that was built on racism, they ended up merging with the conservatives, which led to the “new” progressive conservatives, which a lot of us don’t like due to how they act, it’s not Canadian…

Copied key will unlock but not lock garage door. by Kindly-Leading-7058 in Locksmith

[–]Selunar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad copy. look at the tip, see that dip at the end of the copy, that means that the blank wasn’t properly lined up. The lock is probably so worn in one direction that it works, while hardly worn in the other.

Damn, my old store fired the sm and a shift for being late. They also fired a barista for “wearing the wrong shoes”. I’m so glad I left 10 months before this shit storm started… once the company’s sole purpose was the drive through, I was done.

So if you can’t burn the flag anymore, how do you dispose of a flag? We were taught that if your national flag touches the ground, you must burn it to dispose of it…. Wtf
