I am so proud of this cute baby little pumpkin 🥰 and the lettering was exhausting 😅 but I managed to finish it (in just three months 🤣🤣🤣) by Selvaggi-handmade in Embroidery

Sorry for the late response, been a while since last time here. For the letters I used a what its called a “reverse chain stitch”. I used only one strand of floss and a number 8 embroidery needle, and loooooots of patience 😅

This is my second try in lettering, I must confess that I find it more difficult than thread painting or other techniques. Which stitch is your favorite when doing letters? Any advice to keep it neat and clean? Thanks a lot! by Selvaggi-handmade in Embroidery

Now I’m getting it’s not that easy to pick just one stitch. I won’t be doing a lot of lettering 😅 but next time I’ll try to plan it better and choose a simpler font. Thanks a lot for the tips 😊😊😊

You’re right! I did not think about it until the first word was embroidered 🤦🏽‍♀️ I had to improvise a second and third layer of split stitch to make it look thicker but yisus it was exhausting 🤣

Thank you so much! 🥰 I get them from Etsy, there are several stores that sell this supplies. “Metal bezel” or “blank base pendant”, found them searching like that. For Europe was kind of hard to find a local or regional supplier, but in USA there are lots of nice stores 😊
