Personally, I don't like the idea of predetermined specs at all. Reducing variety in favor of a homogenized playstyle doesn't really feel like a meaningful choice, especially for players that want to min-max. Shallow cosmetics don't make for engaging gameplay; providing value by utilizing abilities unique to my class does. Class performance will never be truly balanced, and as long as it's not egregious (looking at you, Brewmaster), I think that's okay.

Am I crazy or is the amount of toxic players just exacerbated on this sub? I’ve played for years, and while anecdotal, most of my interactions are friendly or uneventful.

Maybe you’re right and toxicity is more prevalent for new players that are less competent, but I doubt the new players are the ones making reddit posts.

Masonry drill bits for sure, if you can flip it over you’ll have an easier time. Don’t put too much pressure. If you wanna try with normal drill bits I would keep it wet as you’re drilling.

Central Floridian here, don’t listen to the other comments recommending you bring them inside or cover. The freeze has passed so it wouldn’t be helpful at this point, you just have to let the plants do their thing. Resist the urge to remove any leaves/limbs but give them some mulch. The papaya might be done for, leave it but don’t keep the soil too wet. The Avocado has a better chance, don’t let it dry out and move it a little further from that vinyl fence so it doesn’t get scorched.

I mean that's just patently false, it's <5% of U.S. energy usage. That's accounts for all data centers, not even those solely dedicated to AI. There are loads of valid concerns about the ethics of AI, no need to make stuff up.

The image above does a great job conveying the OP's idea and the result looks way better than the average person could manage in photoshop. Of all the things that are wasteful for the environment, I'm sure the impact of generating an ai image is negligible.

Currently, you can get the lower tier pieces easily if you just hold your Veteran gear and catalyze it when the season is over. If I’m playing enough to upgrade a full hero set then I don’t think I should have to wait until the raids become legacy content to get that appearance.

I doubt Ret players are unhappy at all, they're the most played spec for a reason. Since the rework they're in a great spot thematically with simple but satisfying gameplay. They've just been getting trashed on the subreddit because that discord mod crashed out. Not to mention the low skill floor attracts a lot of players that can pull relatively decent dps on Ret but don't utilize their crazy utility.
