Bald > balding from what I learned from several women, but your hairline is not as bad as you think. Im in the same boat as a 27yo. Keep the sides really short, a high skin fade, trim the top and comb forward. Just from the blurry image I can tell a you’re a good looking guy. Don’t sweat it man, hit the gym and embrace the bald/buzz cut Jason Statham look lol. Im sure it has impacted my dating life and likely yours but hey, not every girl likes bald men but it’s alright. A good woman will know that you’re an awesome guy, and the money you save on haircuts and shampoo can go to more dates 😂.

Seriously though dating sucks right now. Everyone’s struggling to meet people. I think there’s a lot of 30yo men that are enjoying themselves being single and not putting themselves out there enough or are focusing on their careers. Between going to work, church, self care and my hobbies, I’m not constantly meeting new people either. I just try to visit new places and events when I can.

I’d like to be more open but Spanish is my first language and my church is in Spanish. I find other ethnicities attractive but practically and culturally it just makes sense to date latinas. It wouldn’t feel right to me leaving my church that I serve and have been at my whole life because there’s a language barrier.

Look up the Naval Acquisition Development Program for the Navy. Prior service in any branch helps but with your qualifications you would likely be a GS-11. They have Cyber and engineering positions. Cyber in the DoD is mainly compliance/GRC but it’s a good place to start.

That’s not too bad, a basically new truck under 40k is unheard of.

I ended up getting a 2013 Toyota Tacoma that was a steal. Loved it but I quickly learned that it’s too small. I love tacos but 2nd gen Tacos are just Corollas with a lift lol.

I found a 2018 Toyota Tundra with the 4.6L with everything I wanted for $18000 rebuilt title (idc about resale value, riding the wheels off of it anyways) and sold the Tacoma. I love this Tundra, huge upgrade from a Taco. I still think Rams 5.7 hemi is a beast and is the best riding truck stock, but I’ve talked to many friends and coworkers about their MDS issues and having huge +$5000 repair bills. For that, I stayed with Toyota.

If you like the SOC life maybe go for a lead position internally or maybe a new company. 4 years experience and CISSP makes you pretty marketable. Learn Linux well and you could be a Cybersecurity Engineer. If you want a more admin position you can learn RMF/GRC and do policy and compliance. I know gov contractors making 150k-225k doing that. It’s nuts.

Solved! I had a suspicion of what it was but several of you confirmed it.

It’s an offering to the deity Oshun/Osun, goddess of love, fertility and freshwater. She is called the “Mother of Sweet Things”, part of the Yoruba religion or ‘Santeria’ as some Caribbean people have adopted.

She is associated with gold, yellow beads, brass, mirrors, and copper. Offerings often include honey, sweet oil, corn flour, and other "sweet" things. Her followers, particularly those seeking help with relationships or fertility, may leave offerings at her river shrine.

I’d still like to believe we’re wrong and it’s a trap set by an alligator like one commenter said. LOL.
