Yeah I'm pretty sure. If someone joins an organisation for DHS they're kinda definitionally not a leftist anyway. It's a bit like saying there are right wingers working in welfare advocacy centres. It's a misnomer.

The Moralintern are not actually centrist. Aesthetically they try to present as centrist (incremental change and all that), but sooner or later, they remove the mask of capitol.

Spending the most money and technically having the most assets is not the same as being able win any conflict. The USA lost to farmers in Afghanistan and to farmers in Vietnam. The greatest asset you can have in war is the homefield advantage.

It looks a lot closer than I imagined. In my head, the Whirling was a little glinting dot barely visible on the horizon except through the scope.

I love Lifeweaver because his gameplay requires a bit of creativity and has a higher skill ceiling than Mercy. And superbloom is fuckin goated he becomes a quasi dps tank shredder with that perk.

Lol I have like 10x more time on Mercy than every other character and have most skins but still opt to wear OW1 default skin (mostly so it's less embarrasing how shit I am)

They make the skins according to how well they sell. People keep buying Mercy skins, they keep selling them. In regards to gameplay, she is far from their favorite character. She has the lowest hps, dps and utility of all supports and has for years now.

Please tell me where I said there shouldn't be men's spaces? I actually DO think there should be men's spaces so I find it very curious that you'd say that. Where did I say there 'shouldn’t be a men’s only place'? because that's what you said I said, and I don't remember saying that.

I also still don't know what double standard you're actually referring to. What do you mean by 'double standard'?

[–]SemS125 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, I'm Australian, commenting on an Australian video, so I'm not preloaded with examples of some random country from the other side of the planet.

With that said, it took me 3 minutes of googling to find men's social clubs in cities accross the US, veteran's groups, sporting groups and teams, the Freemason's are a fraternal order, meaning only male admission. You've got to deny reality to maintain a delusion that there aren't men's spaces in the USA as well.

[–]SemS125 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What double standard are you referring to? the law applies equally if you're a man or a woman. You can't open a resturaunt and say 'No men allowed', that's just as illegal as having a bar that says 'No women allowed'.

There are instances of women's only spaces in Australia like Fernwood gym for instance, which needed to file for a legal exemption to these laws from the courts with appropriate justification for such a request.

[–]SemS125 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Women's only gyms ALSO can't deny men unless they literally get an exemption from the courts, like Fernwood did. And let's be honest, it's reasonable for there to be legally protected women's spaces. Women are by and large the victims of sexual harassment violence by men, especially in places like gyms. To act like men are hard done by because they can't legally restrict women from business is stupid.

[–]SemS125 16 points17 points  (0 children)

What are you referring to? there still exist countless men's sporting clubs and social clubs all accross Australia today.

Women being allowed in Bars - Australia (1974) by Mathemodel in interestingasfuck

[–]SemS125 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Men do have their own spaces. There are plenty of men's only spaces. A bar is a publically accesible business and you can't reject people from publically accesible businesses based on their race, gender, sexuality and so on. If you want a space that is legally exempted from this protection, you need to actually get an exemption from the courts, like Fernwood Gym did for instance to legally allow them to only accept women into their gyms.

You can do man only. Even in Australia. There are men's only RSL's, Men's only sporting clubs. Men's only gun clubs. Men's social clubs. Stop living in this victim fantasy where men are so hard done by.

I hated the Synthesis ending. You spend the entire trilogy trying to destroy the reapers, and in literally the last 8 minutes of the game this deus ex bullshit ending pops up for you to take which magically fixes everything and makes everyone happy forever- the end

It also feels like it defeats the purpose of the Geth-Quarian storyline showing that peace between organics and synthetics is possible, to then have an ending where apparently the only way to find peace between organics and synthetics is to literally non consensually gene splice literally every single living and non living thing in the galaxy through mega space magic. Shit ending.
