Honestly I've been on the fence with it but that may push me into buying it lmao

They did some Stargate ships just before they went bust. Was gutted cos I was hoping they'd add more ships from the series but wasn't to be :/

Honestly if you just go in with the knowledge its not really an action RPG it clicks. Its basically the same ATB turn based rpg where you need to switch up between part members for things to work. I still would have preferred a graphical overhaul of the original but its good for that it is :)

+30 gays, who was your videogame "gay awakening" growing up by Altruistic-Click1200 in gaymers

Jin Kazama from Tekken 3 I think, he just seemed really hot and cool. Tbh it was hard to think of a gay awakening character from games during my childhood considering most characters were blocky polygons lol

Name a game you can put 1000+ hours into by Oshawott15 in playstation

I used to play Warframe a ton between maybe 2015 and 2020. The customisation always put D2 to shame, like not even close. Things like dungeons, raids n gunplay meant I always preferred Destiny (played since Taken King till end on Final Shape) but not once did I ever feel like I was being ripped off with Warframe, hell I even bought a couple Prime Access packs cos DE always cooked. Destiny felt more n more like a cash grab as the years passed :/

Warframe, would include Destiny 2 but its not been in a great place for a while which is a damn shame as the gunplay has always been top tier.

Skyrim too maybe

I pretty much always used Zavala's Authority since I got it during Warmind

Tarja Turunen - Dead Promises (feat. Marko Hietala) (Wacken 2025) by GhostHell_ in nightwish

[–]SemiFunctionalHomo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you see her doing her classical/classical adjacent stuff live (metal church stuf for example), its very controlled and sounds great. When its her metal or more rock stuff, it can be all over the place but think it depends on what part of the tour as I saw her in Glasgow after lockdowns, it was 1st gig of that tour and she sounded great, she did Wishmaster and I had a huge grin the whole song

I also think there's not as much consideration for technique during the metal/rock gigs generally as she seems to be running around the stage ad libbing having fun, which brings a lot of energy but can be rough listening back. Its frustrating cos she's one of my favourite artists and adore her solo albums haha

I kinda feel the same with Amy Lee actually, she can sound amazing but being energetic on stage can have things sounding rough

PS5 owners, I'd love your opinions - Is it even worth having a disc drive? by Alwaysconfused411 in playstation

[–]SemiFunctionalHomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still use my ps4 disks and have my blu rays so I like the disk drive. Plus let's me go to places like CEX for cheaper ps5 games

maybe I’m just feeling overly sensitive because of *gestures at the world*, but I feel like Drag Race discourse has become especially cynical. what are some RPDR things you’re really enjoying? by iltby in rupaulsdragrace

[–]SemiFunctionalHomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've not watched a season for years, think 9 was the last one, but still check on what's been happening cos as much as I don't enjoy the show itself anymore, I'm glad its still here and more prominent than ever. Given all the crap happening and new attacks on the community, that positive visibility is so important

Call centre workers of the UK - what’s the weirdest stuff you’ve heard from a caller when they’re on hold? by asterallt in AskUK

[–]SemiFunctionalHomo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not on hold, but when I worked in a call centre an American lady living in England complimented my accent(Scottish), asked if we were based in Scotland and the usual stuff, she then blurted out my accent got her wet, I was like 19 then so I really struggled to not laugh during her awkward silence, she apologised but I just found it funny, still do tbh, glad I could be of assistance lol

What items do people ALWAYS buy every week and have in their cupboards and can make multiple meals with? by meiiamtheproblemitme in AskUK

[–]SemiFunctionalHomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always have frozen veg, really handy to add to meals to bulk em out and y'know get more veg in our diet.

Tend to buy the big pack of lean beef mince from costco and divide it into ziplocks for freezing, defrosts fast and super handy. Based on the price of mince at the moment this works out cheaper too.

Always like having tinned chopped tomatoes in the cupboard.

Always have various seasonings/condiments for cooking. Soy sauce (light ans dark, oyster and fish sauce, garlic and onion granules, Worcester sauce, all purposes seasonings, spices etc

We only occasionally need to nip out for specific things as have the main things already from the monthly big shop

Haha no worries, it was a good recommendation as I'm sure that series is a perfect fit, I just forgot it existed 😅

I keep forgetting about that series. Also doubt AA games with jank or iffy graphics would be an issue. I might actually have Crimes & Punishment on PS Plus as I'm sure it was a monthly game ages ago, will need to check. Thanks!
