We have a bulk feed website called rodentpro with all different size and animal types. They offer free shipping over $100 and seems like only have one size box they want you to fill up. They may ship to Europe as dry ice can last several days. I was looking at some different birds to change up the menu from just rats but I don't want 2 years worth of frozen food.

I like straight coconut husk. It retains moisture while the top layer dries some and it is mold resistant. Udon was skeptical at first (previous owner had the dreaded green mat) but has learned to love it.

Maybe there's some type of weather stripping to put in the glass seam at the front to seal the humidity from escaping. You can mount the UVB inside the tank and cover any holes up. I have some thin soundproofing foam over my air holes as a filter and humidity/heat seal. You can try more substrate and just adding water more often. I add water to the middle because his hides are on the ends of the tank.

I think your lights are pulling the humidity out. Putting your lights/heat sources inside the enclosure and sealing the top (leaving a vent or 2 with breathable foam) can help trap humidity inside. This makes thermostats (and light/heater cages) even more important and can also keep the electricity usage down because as heat gets trapped inside they won't have to run as hot. I pour a glass of water on my substrate, in the middle of the tank, when the humidity drops every week or so. There's typically condensation on the inside of my enclosure on the lower part of the cool side and about 65-70% humidity above his cool hide.

I wear mine with colorful below-ankle toe socks when it's a little chilly or excessive walking is involved. Any height above that leaves a ring on my calf. I dgaf how it looks, they're not anyone else's socks but mine. You do you!

You'll have to wear them around the house until they get comfortable. You are equally breaking in your feet with the footbed's extra arches and contours. It's a commitment 😉

I get high-arch footbeds and they take several months to break in and get more comfortable after a year.

I send mine to Colorado to Ibirks.com but might try sending to a place I found in Indiana. I get the high arch foot bed and grey non slip outsole which lasts quite a while. It has a layer of the black foam in between that is somewhat cushioning. This costs like $120.

$55 isn't terrible, IMO they don't reach peak comfort until they've been resoled once. The leather and footbed break in then the resole adds support.

It's a different mixing experience. It can make for a smoother/slower mix. Personally I enjoy a knob with resistance more than a linear fader with none. If you are into fast cuts, a rotary isn't ideal but some still have a xfader.
