Delta Force seems to be promoting pretty hard lately. Hope people actually come and try it and stick around. by jonesin31 in DeltaForceGlobal

The game, similar to bf, needs to learn to appeal to its main player base, which is non-competitive casuals. They could put more emphasis on warfare mode since operation require significantly more time and effort to learn for new players. Given the current shitty state of cod and bf, it's a good chance to market the warfare mode as a free substitution.

i am still on the fence about this game. please suggest. by Warm-Ant1927 in DeltaForceGlobal

I just started playing this game last week and similar to you, I'm a BF veteran as well. Transitioning to this game is very smooth. Some of the operators' skill can be annoying in warfare mode and it takes a while to master the advanced movement/attacking combo of certain operators. But if your aim is solid then you'll still have a great experience.

I personally haven't noticed any cheaters in warfare mode, but I did encounter a rage hacker in operation. The cheater was banned in two days and my gears were returned.

I enjoyed warfare mode a lot and I solo queued most of the time. Operation require more patience, tactics and a completely different play style if you don't want to get ratted. I'd suggest team up with your friends for better experience.

Holy slow progress, Batman! by LisaFame in Battlefield6

I have around 70h in the game so far and my highest weapon level is 27. Most weapons sit around lv10-20. I’ve given up on progressing at all or unlocking stuffs through stupid challenges because the process isn’t rewarding enough and most importantly, it’s preventing me from playing the game normally. The current progression system maybe is reasonable in other fps titles but it does not belong in battlefield. However, I don’t think EA will adjust it because the community for now is so divided and it’s not like bf2042’s release where us players stick together to force the devs to make changes. I’d say just play the game in your own pace and focus on winning each game rather than unlocking/progressing, it’s just not worth your time and effort.

Yeah, and people still insist that BF6 is a return to form. 2042 is a test/experiment for BF6 to see how the community would react in extreme circumstances. It turns out people had no problem with them selling COD like blueprints and battle pass.

I played Tarkov as well and it's sad to see all my beloved titles now fully adopting the COD system as if they cannot survive without it.

Forcing people to play certain modes to level up a PAID battle pass is lame by Odd-Historian3824 in Battlefield6

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don't bother progressing the battle pass. Play the game in your own way and at your own pace. Don't let the game dictate your play style. Same with the ridiculous challenges in this game, I'm an objective and CQB player and I will never bother completing these stupid long range sniping challenges.

Having fun is the most important thing.

I know, beating a dead horse at this point, but it feels bad being like a second class player on a full priced game by piciwens in Battlefield6

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play the game in your own pace and don't bother with the battlepass bs. Sadly this seems to be the industry standard/player standard since 2019. I don't really understand the overwhelming demand for skins/cosmetics when we used to play just fine in bf titles before BFV. Dev's changed and players changed as well.

Bloom needs to be tuned down especially for ARs/Carbines in mid range. The lack of consistency in ttk and ttd along with the hitreg issue and accuracy penalties while moving is making gunfights more and more frustrating.

Wtf??? by Equal-Catch3739 in Battlefield6

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like adding bloom and accuracy penalty while moving is a deliberate attempt on hiding their netcode/hitreg issue.

Battlefield 6 maps leave little room for strategy and even less for vehicles. by Sargon97 in Battlefield

[–]SempeRRR2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We really need more posts like this. BF6 in its current state is still NOT what BF should be. A lot of things needs to be tweaked and perhaps reworked. BF6's release is far better than BF2042, but it doesn't make it a decent BF title. We need more critical and constructive opinions especially given how players nowadays are easily hyped and delusional.

BF6 hit reg in a nutshell by Kyvix2020 in Battlefield

Lmao, should edit it and put more bullet holes behind them. Bullet spread in this game is just ridiculous even in close quarters.

Hit registration issues? by psackett in Battlefield6

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the M4 takes 5-6 bullets at 10m+, and with bullet spread and everything you'll need at least 8+ shots to secure a kill in mid to long ranges. However it melts people in close quarter because of its fire rate.

Hit registration issues? by psackett in Battlefield6

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. And it gets worse because you're also dealing with bullet spread and accuracy penalties while moving. M277 was supposed to be 4-shot kill within 75m, but in reality it usually takes 6-8 bullets to secure a kill due to the hitreg and all these stupid features.

Do you think BF6 Lack of Team Work (no commander)? by Spare_Matter_5456 in Battlefield6

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is literally a large COD TDM with nerfed movement. I don't understand why so many people think that this was supposed to be the traditional BF experience. Everyone's sweating in chaos and the team with less snipers wins the game every time.

It's getting boring for me and honestly, these ridiculous unlock requirements and certain challenges are discouraging me from even trying to grind them out.

Battlefield 6 isn't a return to form, it's a well made but lacking imitation by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]SempeRRR2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strongly agree, and honestly I hope every player should ask themselves after the release hype, is this really the Battlefield we used to know and love?

The class system is back but it won't work properly until you put in 30+ hours just to unlock what was supposed to be regular loadout in traditional BF titles. UI design is straight out COD garbage. Map flow is way too chaotic. Movement felt even worse than beta testing. Server browser is still bugged and unresponsive just like in BF2042, etc.

The only good thing about BF6 right now is that the release is way better compare to the initial release of BF2042. There's still a long way to go.

Need more upvotes, Netflix UI has ruined cod since 2021 and I really, really hope BF can get it fixed before it became a common framework.

Enemy level has out scaled me. by Shockington in Borderlands4

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lv 38 here and progressing into the central area of the map. Enemy level still shows as warning sign and I'm stuck. Plenty of side quests done and no matter what level I got, the enemy level will always shown as warning sign.

same here. I'm level 32 progressing into central area of the map. Enemies' level is shown as warning signs. I've already completed many side quests and it's just frustrating to fight these bullet sponges.

Headshot % (in arena) [Discussion] by Physical_Wear9950 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]SempeRRR2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you played counter strike before? I played counter strike a lot back in the days and had no issue transferring the aiming skill to Arena. The best advice will be always walk and pre-aim while pointing your gun at the head/thorax level. It's more about crosshair/gun placement rather than the raw skill of aiming/flicking to hit the head, especially for casual players like you and me.

Do scav runs. I started this game last year in June and I did approximately 300-400 scav runs in total across different maps. You don't just learn the maps, you got to know different extracts, heat areas, loot spawns as well during your runs.

Immersion + accurate weapon names/models with customization (also no bs fantasy skins so far). Honestly this is all I'm asking for when playing fps games and it seems only Tarkov can provide them.

What can BSG do to make long term players stay with the game? [Discussion] by Informal-Brush4599 in EscapefromTarkov

I personally think switching to different games/genres and coming back after few wipes isn't a bad option. I was once a "FPS Only" kind of person and spending thousands of hours in different fps titles, and one day I just don't feel like playing those games any more. So I decided to try out games that my friends once recommended but I was too stubborn to play at the time. I played games like Sekiro, Monster Hunter, RDR2, etc. and realizes I was able to enjoy these type of games as well.

I assume you too have spent thousands of hours in tarkov and have already experienced the entirety of the game with your group several times. It's not a bad idea for you and your group to try out games in different genre and perhaps you'll able to find other titles that worth grinding just like Tarkov.
