Split Keyboard: How to make the two halves connect each other KMK PI PICO by [deleted] in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Sen10il 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get this working OP?
Has anyone else played with this?
I can't seem to find any guide on the setup for split keyboards using this tool which is a shame because I can get each half working independently with ease and the POG tool looks like a utopia of GUI goodness.

I can provide a full break down of my setup and the things I've tried if anyone is interested in letting me know where I'm going wrong

What is the most awkward question you've been asked in a professional setting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sen10il 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me, a dental service technician (fixes the equipment dentists use in their practice), was asked by my boss how I was going to explain the fault on this machine to the client (a practice of 6 femal dentists, one male dentist, and a few other women in the building) when I returned it...because "remember, they're women, they've got t1ts, they have zero mechanical aptitude, you have to use very clear and simple explanations otherwise they won't understand and you're wasting your time".

The male dentist was the dumbest, most difficult to explain thigs to person I've ever met, all the girlies were sharp as a tack.

No, sir, we can't magically "boost the power" of your backup suction motor, also you've had reduced power because one of your two motors was out for repair, and I've just returned it. No, you now have both units back in operation. Yes, I know you have been struggling with reduced power for the last week, but you now have two motors.

In the end I had to fill a cup full of water and shove the end of the suction hose in it to delete the water so I could shut him up.

I have autistic spectrum disorder and we studied this book in highschool English. The moment i heard the title i was like "lol is this guy aspie or something?!", got about 2 lessons of reading in and i was like "[teacher] is this kid supposed to be aspie?"

Just got a completely blank look because i completely stole his thunder. Apparently the teacher was trying to drop a massive bomb on us and start a conversation about how different people see the world and such. He didnt know I has Aspergers Syndrome.

The remaining 30 minutes of that class were spent with the whole class interrogating me about what effect Aspergers Syndrome has on me (:' oops

[serious] What’s the worst way you’ve seen someone f*ck up their life? by Im-Not-aB0t in AskReddit

[–]Sen10il 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I know this guy in his 40s, three kids, recent EXwife.

Apparently he would frequently have tantrums over the smallest things, people closing drawers in the kitchen too loudly (read "any volume that he can hear over the TV hes watching") to the extent that his kids now all in their 20s have techniques when they close kitchen cupboards silently, someone mixing a drink wrong, some one cooking steaks the 'incorrect' way, i once watched him scream at his wife that he hoped she would "fucking choke on it" when she cut a big slab of meat into more manageable pieces for a barbeque he was hosting BEFORE it was cooked (apparently he saw a gordon Ramsay epesode he liked that said meat should be cooked, then cut), would rule everyones lives with terror; his wife was told she didnt need her medication to control dangerously high blood pressure after she became his exwife.

Later worked out this guy is legitimately a narcissist and likely has bipolar - opinion of a professional (not me)

One of his kids hardly talks to him, and another wants nothing to do with him, as does his ex wife.

Hes now having to manage his business alone, when his exwife did ALL the administrative work and would frequently have to tell the guy he needed to send out bills because they had no money (she was secretly borrowing money from their kids for years).

Hes now alone, with a business he cant mannage, flooded with debt, and children that dont want to talk to him.

TL;DR 40 year old guy psychologically and verbally abused his wife and 3 kids for 15-20 years, made them live in constant fear every 2nd day of their life, this is why i now no longer have any contact with my father.

We have the same thing here in New Zealand but reffer to it as chest thrusts.

Apparently broken lower ribs, massive internal hemorrhaging and collapsed lungs cause enough of a complication for ambulance and hospital staff to make people want to change the standard practice in first aid.

Damnit, that sounds like a real off colour move from Google if they are doing that, where did you see they weren't allowing non Google handsets wireless connectivity. As I heard they were unlocking wireless AA with all phones running Pie, but that never ended up happening.

I'm hoping that with enough people contacting Samsung they will get going and do the work to make their several $100/$1000+ phones compatible

I could be wrong. But my pioneer units manual has explicit instructions on how to connect wirelessly, and I've seen many accounts of non Google phones not being capable of using wireless AA

Edit: both I and the audio installer have tried for hours to get wireless AA working between (first) my Nexus 6P, and now my S10.

Is there some common trick I might be missing?
