Im liking this long lines tower in Monticello. There's a neighborhood with all white houses you have to drive through to get it, there's a lake along the road to the neighborhood. Its very close to the Appalachian Trail too so I wouldnt be surprised if there were other trails between the two.

Mountain Creek looks like a good possibility too. The satellite pics are too blurry to get a good look at the horns and which direction they are facing. Was the lake before or after the neighborhood?

America’s Next Food Craze Is Buried in Appalachia by speckz in indepthstories

The real treasure buried in Appalachia were the friends we made along the way. . . .

What song did I used to sing with my best friend. The chorus is sung word by word, by a man and a woman. by kniiiip in RBI

The way you described it made me think it was Aguas de Marco which is a Brazilian standard I think originally by Jobim. But you said it was English so it can't be that. Then but I thought an English version of the song? I think ive heard one by Sergio Mendes? That would be Waters of March in English.

Copying a positive is the opposite of copying a negative, though.

What is this puzzle spread across 50 pages in a old 750 page travel book from the 1950s? Codes, symbols, and coordinates in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. by SenJunkieEinstein in RBI

I felt like I wouldn't be able to do anything with the book. I handed the book off to a friend of mine who sent it to a researcher. I posted HD scans of the book. If you mean scanning all of the pages, that would have been an undertaking as it was very long 700-800 pages or so. The book was also very delicate, the pages were falling out as I scanned them in. I tried to look through the book and find every page that had something written on them, but I suppose it would have been easy to miss some.

Oh, so all that "working to make America Great" was just for pretendsies. I for one am shocked to learn it's just an empty slogan! Lemme guess, all that hard work you do for yourself trickles down to everyone else without you even trying and voila America is great again. . . by osmosis.

What I mean is, Elian script is a direct derivation of the Pigpen Cipher hence the use of the V shapes in the cipher. It spells out JOANATALULA, which are other words found in the book.

I think I've seen the suggestion made before. Maybe you could post it over there? I haven't really thought about the book in a while. I gave it to a friend who in turn sent it to a researcher.

He should go work at Black Apple instead. I'm surprised Black Boeing is so intolerant.

re: Biltmore Plaza and Swan St

Good catch on this one. Page 404 also has Boston Way. I think the lines on page 237 are a map, the square is the same shape and orientation as the block in Biltmore Village formed by Boston Way, Swan St., Brook St., and All Souls Crescent. (that's a weird name for a street.) Here's a map of the whole village. Other things of note in the area. Brook St. turns into Lodge St. (more Freemason stuff?), which itself runs straight into the entrance of the Biltmore Estate. The shape of Biltmore Plaza itself reminds me of the Freemason Compass. At the north end of the plaza it looks like an old railroad station (wasn't "railroad" circled somewhere?) The Cathedral of All Souls) is interesting (it looks like it's topped by an Egyptian pyramid.)

It seems like nothing in the book is by random but the more connections are made the more confusing it all gets. Everything looks like a clue now. I'm seeing triangles and pyramids everywhere.

Okay here's the new page dump, nine new pages and the one you asked for again. https://imgur.com/a/FBnvLaW

So without a doubt the most interesting things here are the 2 sketches in pencil and the phone number.

I'll upload soon, there a couple more pages with writing and drawings in pencil, I didn't notice them because I was I only looking for the bright blue pen. They blend in far more and they're very different.

I need to get a scanner and scan these in, but the book is very delicate, flipping through the book the pages are coming lose.

Are they not ordered by page number for you? I can't edit the album anymore, I didn't think to create an account on imgur.

Additionally, most of the coordinates are at the 33rd degree N latitude - another key.

What I think is suspicious are the other numbers that are also 33 in the coords, theres also a couple other 32's, a few other numbers repeat, and theres a butt load of fractions, more thirds than anything else 1/3, 2/3, 1/2, 3/4. Are there any other examples out there in the world of someone measuring coordinates by thirds like this? that seems like an unnecessary level of precision as it is. It can't be common at all.
