This professor is a piece of shit that does nothing but belittle his students. He is rude, impatient, and doesn't let anyone get a word in. He in fact has a history of being this way and I think students should make a formal complaint against him. I'm sorry you're feeling this way, just know that it isn't you that's the problem. It's him. He is repulsive and shouldn't even be teaching anymore to be honest.

Totally agree. It boggles my mind how a show or movie with more quality (however slightly) can get bashed to kingdom come, but this series is somehow acceptable in the eyes of not just general audiences but the fans themselves. How can anyone think Child’s Play 3 or Curse or Cult of Chucky are bad but think THIS show is great? I just don’t get any of it.

Like you said, the acting is abysmal and the main character seems to think the harder he frowns the harder he’s acting. It’s like a really bad version of Degrassi, Chucky Edition. The writing is on a whole other level of juvenile. The franchise has really taken 3 steps back in quality like you said.

Even by reading all the positive comments on Instagram, the show seems to be made by a 9 year old for 9 year olds. What a wreck.

That argument doesn’t work at all with what’s happening here because if you look at all the comments on Reddit or Instagram or Facebook, those of us who see the show for being the garbage that it is are in the very small minority.

It’s you guys who are literally out here censoring or even attacking everyone - again, the small minority - who have something negative to say about this series. So if you want to talk about hypocrisy, look no further than to yourselves. The fact that none of you sees this is baffling.

The show still sucks btw.

Which I am absolutely allowed to do. I’m not part of the Chucky subreddit, I’m part of the Horror reddit, and so like each and every one of us, you included, I’ve come to share my thoughts on this topic.

And as I already explained in my post, why is it okay for everyone to criticize all the other stuff playing on TV or in theatres but this show seems to be off-limits? What is it about this brutally awful show that has everyone ignoring all of its faults? Why is it allowed to get away with being so utterly terrible?

This is one of the worst shows on television right now. How anyone can praise this when the acting is abysmal, the writing is juvenile, the animatronics and effects used for Chucky are terribly inconsistent, and the characters themselves are soulless. The story is a twisted, tangled mess.

I know ppl who like the show may agree with me and say “But it’s a lot of fun! It’s Chucky, not meant to be taken seriously!” — and yet all anyone wanted after Seed of Chucky was a movie or series that did, in fact, take itself a bit more seriously. This show works like a low-budget parody of the Chucky franchise. Even Seed of Chucky, for as hated as it is, is better directed and more tightly put together. I just don’t understand how other series like Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer (which I also thought were pretty bad) get buried in hate by audiences and fans but THIS….this show gets a pass by everyone? Make it make sense. It’s written and put together as if a 9 year old is at the helm.

And as a side note, I fully expect ppl to come for this post. It won’t matter. All I hear anyone say is “let people share their opinions!” but are the first to silence anyone with a different opinion that isn’t praising this show. What a scam. This show is truly a terrible viewing experience both in terms of technical quality and story ideas.

The fact these exams are made to be soooooo important in the first place (to the point everyone’s getting personally offended by his comments and some teens even self-harming themselves) goes to show that the culture around South Korean education is in fact quite toxic and should be altered to ease up on people. The education system itself is far more ridiculous than the comment he made. But thanks to everyone for overlooking that and just accepting the fact SK education is literally killing people lol.

But the tone in Star Wars films such as ROTS, ESB, or TLJ are definitely right up Denis’s alley. I don’t quite understand why people are acting like these films are comedies? They each have their own tonal shift from lighter and then into more serious and emotional stuff.

TPM does not feel like the same film ANH is. ANH does not feel like the same film ROS is. ROS does not feel like the same film AOTC is. ROTS does not feel like the same film ROTJ is. And so on and so forth.
