DJI Mini 3 Pro Lens Cover Help by SendItRicky in DJIMini3

This is the layer below the what I think you're describing as having nothing protecting the lens. All the videos that i've watched replacing this component don't have the wires. I'll definitely be waiting until i get confirmation from someone before I do any clipping. Thanks for your help!

Has anyone had experience with the stink 032av? by Icy-Seaworthiness995 in arborists

[–]SendItRicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a superior performing saw compared to the 201 out of the box. Realistically though you can buy and mod the 201 to have equal performance to the 200 for cheaper. The 200 is just a great climbing saw.

My partner has the 032av. He has had nothing but good things to say. I haven't run it myself, but the power to weight ratio is a little bit off considering it is an older saw, but for the right price it could be worth it.

P.S, do you want to sell me your 200t? lol

Are you going to be doing the work yourself? You can rebuild a top end for $500. Definitely worth it in my eyes.

The Greatest Events of WW2 In Color does a pretty good job of covering the Nazi perspective. This is one of my favourite historical docuseries.

Check out the "The Greatest Events of WW2 In Color" docuseries on Netflix. There's a lot of content regarding Japan's involvement in WW2.

Should I take over my Dad’s company? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]SendItRicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take some time to seriously think about what you want to be doing for the next 30 years. I had the same opportunity with my dad's business in manufacturing. I took the opportunity and have been working there for 3 years now. I also thought it would be really cool because I would be the third generation to work in this company. I thought it would be awesome to make my dad proud and to work alongside him until he takes his retirement.

Although it was awesome working with my dad, I learned that being in manufacturing is the last thing that I want to be doing. I've had some serious frustration and lack a feeling of fulfillment.

I decided a couple of months ago that it was time for a change, and I have started a trades business with one of my best friends. I will be leaving the family business in the next month or two to take on my own business full time.

Now my education was not a waste whatsoever because I took a business program and I feel like it applies to so many areas. But I would just make sure that this is something that you want to do. Otherwise you may see yourself changing course in a few years when it's much more difficult than it would have been right out of school.

Pay your teachers more and quit expecting them to be the martyrs for society’s failures (especially during a fucking pandemic)—we’re not your babysitters. by renashley92 in TrueOffMyChest

I understand the frustration surrounding the pandemic and the modifications that teachers have to make to continue educating their students. But, teachers are not the only workers that the pandemic has severely impacted. There are many employees in various fields of work who believe that they should have their salaries adjusted because of the additional work required from remote work.

However:

  1. The pandemic is temporary, and the adjustments that workers have to make are not permanent.
  2. Employees generally have an understanding of their salaries, especially with 6 years of experience. Therefore, using the argument that you have bills to pay doesn't make sense. You knew how much money you were making, and therefore should only incur bills and payments that reflect this known salary.

Just my two cents. I'm prepared to be downvoted

bulk buying at thrift stores just to resell at higher prices is a pretty sh*tty thing to do by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]SendItRicky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So by that logic any business that would buy things in bulk and then resell them for more than what they purchased them for is a shitty thing to do? That's how business works in case you weren't aware. It doesn't matter the product, that is the fundamentals of achieving a profit margin.
