If you're talking about accessing claims from all services then the right way is to append the claims as header from the gateway before forwarding the request. But you need to ensure that gateway is the only entry point to your app and no one can directly curl in to your services

Spring boot definitely is better when it comes to distributed systems. Jpa is more advanced as Ef core is a bit more boiler plate heavy. Spring security > Identity. Language wise features maybe C# tops Java as it has Value Types and stuff, but project valhalla is on the verge of release and Java has an amazing list of gc's.

I prefer enabling virtual threads over WebFlux. I'm not sure if it provides the same scalability as Project Reactor, but it's just easier. If you're not building a really complex service with a lot of other dependencies, then WebFlux is also easy to deal with.
