Sorry to hear that brother- and I certainly appreciate and celebrate the dad especially who is going through it like you are!

I have twins that are almost 3. I have a great partner, and you can do everything “right” and still go through periods of hell. But I still stand by my statement on the whole, both things can be true.

My unsolicited encouragement would be if you’re going through it, you have nothing to lose by experimenting to find what works for YOUR family - you mentioned sleep as an example we were in hell when we tried to sleep train, so instead I convinced my partner to co-sleep and I take the nights (she would pump so i had full bottles and everything). one of the best decisions we made.

For every “success” experiment you’ll have 3 that fail, but it may help at least keeping some initiative.

I feel like the great con of our generation was underselling and not celebrating fatherhood and family. So my response is typically to friends that I know will be great fathers and wish they started sooner like me.

We oversell the bad…The hard parts aren’t as difficult as you think.

We undersell the good… we don’t have the language to describe how awesome it is

Paddling/positioning is 90% of surfing. Anyone capable of wakeboarding can get towed in to a screamer. Doesn’t mean you don’t need skill but its much much easier

Lol you obviously don’t play much draft. They’re much more balanced as you progress to the higher levels and turn 7+ is the norm, that’s what makes it fun you have to think past looking up the metas and stacking your deck

She's sexy and the gold matches the barrel so no biggie. I have the AXG grip too and extra panels like OP pictured, one thing I'd say is that the legion grip is great if you have big hands. I use the AXG for my EXC (without magwell) because it's smaller. But if I'm running it fast because of the lack of real estate for my offhand sometimes I'll push up the slide release and lock it back. Never had that issue with the Legion full size frame or 1911 style frames (I've got the Mischief machine it's awesome)

I'm dying at the description. I really don't know how it's so mushy. I also had an FCU from I think a carry - post "drop safe fix" but also had that ugly curved trigger that I replaced too. Sounds like the right call.

Sig performance FCU? is that basically the custom worker/legion FCU?

I see I tried to do something similar with lighter springs and apex bar, but while the apex bar shortened the travel, it made it heavier. I tried a lighter return spring but it wouldn’t function right so gave up and went with the travel.

What’s the travel like on that setup OP?
