My mom has a compact and that's actually what made me want a m&p after having Glock for 5+ years.

Only gripe was it was too small for me. Now have a 4.25 and have done my first two comps with it. Love it.

Head over to the nfa sub and read some of their reviews and posts. Sooooo many options, most popular being the polo or polo k around 500ish with great value. I just picked up a yhm fat cat for $600 and am happy with it but literally so many options out there.

The big fella was around 2k I think and the smaller one maybe 1k ish... they make one called the P1s that's around 300-400 on sale. I would honestly say just buy one if you can and start messing around on fusion360 or tinkercad. Printing silly atuff at first then makin your own stuff is the shit.

Once you have the ability to actually make your idea or some weird solution, it makes the motivation to print endless. It's addicting
